4 Important CAL Notes Please read these important notes before beginning your Firefly CAL blanket. Gauge: Hook Size: G/4.00m 1 mini c2c "block" = 9" of yarn This CAL is worked in the mini C2C stitch using HDC. Use the stitch guide below if needed. Mini C2C Stitch Guide *The values in this PDF chart for the number of skeins required is rounded to the nearest hundreth of a skein. If a value reads 0.00 on the chart, it means that there is only a small amount of yarn required for that color--it does not mean that you don't need that color! Increasing Rows (Rows 1-30) Decreasing Rows (Rows 1-30) **To figure out how much yarn you need for your entire blanket, simply add up the yardage listed below of each color for all of the squares YOU want to complete. If you match the gauge and use the yarn brand specified in the charts on the following pages, you should end up with a blanket that measures roughly 40"x40" (excluding banners). First block of the row: Ch 4. Work 1 hdc in the 3rd chain space from the hook and in the next chain space. Remaining blocks of the row: Join to the next block with a slip stitch in the gap. Ch 2. Work 2 hdc in the gap. First block of the row: Work 2 slip stitches up the edge of the work to get to the top row. Ch 2. Work 2 hdc in the gap.
