5 Travel has design in its DNA Clean lines, simple interfaces and intelligent collision detection mean that it is as practical as it is stylish. Everything has been considered; cables are easily managed with cable trays or baskets and different screen options can be specified with confidence. How Travel works The electrical configuration has three memory save positions which are user programmable. M1, M2 and home. Up and down arrows can be used to find the user s optimal height before saving to memory. The up and down arrows can also be used to freely raise and lower the worktop at any time. Electronic controller The system also allows for a maximum height to be set to ensure that the worktop does not exceed the height of the screens. This can be set by the user themselves, maintenance personnel or by the Workspace installation team. With a load capacity of 150kg per top for three leg systems and 120kg per top for two leg systems, Travel has ample lifting power. At full load the worktops can be raised or lowered at 30mm per second. Travel can also be ordered with a manual winder adjustment. Floor levelling glides

A recent study by The Heart Foundation together with the Prevention Research Collaboration of the University of Sydney showed that the use of sit-stand workstations reduced users sitting time by almost 20 per cent during work hours. Standing desks have proven to decrease the risk of chronic diseases such as cardiovascular disease, type 2 diabetes, hypertension, stroke and premature mortality, even in physically active adults. Studies have shown that the sit-stand system directly affects the motivation and satisfaction of workers, and as a result, an increase in productivity.
