1 Dear Fellow Jewelers: I am very excited to write my first letter as President of Jewelers of Louisiana. This organization is over 70 years old and I can t thank you enough for all of your continued support. I want to congratulate past President Kevin Bennett on a great convention. We had over 80 attendees this year. One of the best attended conventions we have ever had. We look forward to putting together another exceptional convention next year. We have an exciting event coming up Tuesday, June 14 th from 6pm-7pm in Lafayette. Carl Lehnhardt, Diamond Buyer for Stuller, will give us an update on the diamond industry. This is open to all members. There is no charge for this great event. Thank you to Stuller for hosting us. It will be hard to top last year s convention; however, please know that the board is busy working to plan a great convention for August 27 th and 28 th in New Orleans. She began her speaking and training career at birth. She was born into a family of driven entrepreneurs and dynamic educators. Her parents founded the Baldridge Learning Center in Her first official speaking engagement was at the White House, at the age of 19. She got there by cold calling the president.
