2 ME-TECH 2016 HIGHLIGHTS The 6 th edition of the Middle East Technology Forum took place at the Madinat Jumeirah in Dubai on February The event was kindly sponsored by Honeywell UOP, ExxonMobil, CB&I, Axens, Bechtel, PAS and Andritz Separation. The event began on 14 February with a Complimentary Workshop day hosted by ExxonMobil and UOP. Both workshops were a great success and very well attended. ME-TECH 2016 Forum took place on 15 & 16 February and brought together the leading regional operating companies, licensors, equipment suppliers and consultants to showcase the very latest in projects, equipment and technology. The plenary sessions focused on the major projects and on the future outlook, a much discussed topic, given the recent and very significant falls in crude oil price. The event then split into refining and petrochemicals streams, each stream featuring the very latest technology developments in those sectors. Euro Petroleum Consultants 20 th Anniversary Dinner took place on Fort Island on Monday 15 February, with the stunning backdrop of the Burj Al Arab and the Arabian Gulf. Guests enjoyed local delicacies, whilst having the opportunity to network in this stunning setting.
