1 OSEA / OGmTech2014 enhances its presence in Asia s Oil & Gas industry OSEA2014, Asia s largest Oil & Gas exhibition and its biggest edition ever, ended on a high note with positive feedback from both the exhibitors and visitors. The 4-day event which spans across 3 levels attracted more than 28,600 Oil & Gas trade professionals. Opening address by Mr. S Iswaran - Minister, Prime Minister s Office Second Minister for Home Affairs and Trade & Industry OGmTech2014, the inaugural exhibition that is held alongside OSEA2014, provided trade attendees with the ideal platform to network and source for business opportunities. Visitors were treated to a display of showcase of high-end precision engineering solutions specifically for the Oil & Gas industry. Visitors More than 18,400 trade visitors who came from 65 countries / regions were kept busy, combing the exhibition halls to source for new products / technologies. Many of them established new contacts / business partnerships, making their visit to the exhibition very fruitful. Michael Su, Technical Manager Marine SHELL OSEA International conference 2014 has recorded an unprecedented 30% growth in attendance proving that the event is the preferred knowledge-exchange platform in the region. The conference s comprehensive coverage of techno-commercial opportunities in Shale Gas, FLNG, FPSO and Digital Oil Fields through 10 tracks and 2 focused technical workshops has attracted new emerging markets to attend for the first time. 88 international experts from including Petronas, ONGC, ExxonMobil, Shell, PetroChina, SKKMIGAS, Saipem, ENI, Schlumberger, Halliburton disseminated best practices through presentations and case studies covering such diverse topics as FEED to HSE creating a new interactive learning experience for the delegates.
