He was always interested in computers and he started programming computer early, at age of thirteen(1955). He went to one of the best universities of the U.S, Harvard, in When he was at university, he worked on the design of the popular computer language, BASIC. He also met Steve Ballmer, the future Chief Executive Officer of Microsoft. Then he left university after only one year and he concentrated on Microsoft. The company was started in 1975 and it grew and grew. Now more than 61,000 people work for the company in more than 102 countries and regions.
