6 SEVENTH ANNUAL NUCLEAR DETERRENCE SUMMIT ACCOMMODATIONS The rates for Summit attendees at The Omni Shoreham, Washington, DC, is $229 (or prevailing government per diem) for single and double occupancy. This rate does not include applicable state and local taxes. To guarantee a reservation a reservation, please contact the Group Housing office of the hotel at THE-OMNI, th and identify yourself as a 7 Annual Nuclear Deterrence Summit attendee. We recommend making your reservations EARLY to secure a guest room (no later than January 23, 2015). GROUND TRANSPORTATION FROM REAGAN NATIONAL AIRPORT 8 MILES Follow George Washington Parkway Northbound to Washington, D.C. Continue past the Pentagon to the Memorial Bridge. While on the Bridge, merge into right lane and exit at Independence Drive. Follow Independence Drive back under the bridge along the Potomac River (this becomes Rock Parkway). Merge into left lane. Road splits after passing under Bridge, merge left. Road splits again, continue to merge left. First traffic light is Calvert Street. Turn left onto Calvert Street. The hotel is located on the left. Other transportation options from the airport: Taxi: Approximately $20 - $25 Shuttle Service: Transportation is available through Super Shuttle to the Hotel. Super Shuttle is located at Ground Transportation and must be scheduled by the Guest, by calling BLUE-VAN ( ). The trip is approximately $12.00 for one passenger and an additional $10 for each additional passenger. Metro: Take the Blue Line metro in the direction of Largo to Metro Center. Change to the Red Line in the direction of Shady Grove. Take Red Line to Woodley Park/Zoo Metro Station. The hotel is located one block from the metro. Once you have exited the Metro via the escalators, go to the right and down the stairs. Go to the left and walk to Calvert St (1 block). Cross the street and take a right. The hotel will be on your left hand side. Approximately $ $2.55 per person. SUMMIT SCHEDULE AND REGISTRATION INFORMATION Registration opens at 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 17 followed by a Reception and Dinner at 6:00 p.m. The Opening Plenary is at 8:00 a.m., Wednesday, February 18.
