Further, IFCI Venture Officials were present at Chennai on 22nd and 23rd June 2015 to attend the prospective entrepreneurs. IFCI Venture has signeda MOU with SIDCO, Tamil Nadu to facilitate SC entrepreneurs who are in need for land from SIDCO & also exploring necessary funding support from VCF-SC. IFCI Venture officials participated in Multi-stakeholder Consulting Meeting for Promoting participation of Scheduled Caste Youth in Leather Sector on 18th Aug, 2015 to create awareness about the fund. An advertisement by IFCI Venture was published in Punjab (Ludhiana and Chandigarh) Uttaranchal on 6th and 7th October 2015 in Punjab Kesri, Times of India and Ajit newspapers in Punjabi and English. Further, IFCI Venture Officials were present at Ludhiana and Chandigarh on 6th and 7th October 2015 to attend the prospective entrepreneurs. An advertisement regarding the success stories of the beneficiaries under VCF-SC was published in The Indian Express on 11th October An advertisement by IFCI Venture was published in Punjab (Mohali, Chandigarh, Panchkula) on 6th November 2015 in Ajit newspaper in Punjabi. Further, IFCI Venture participated in Swadeshi Mela organized by Centre for Economic Policy Research and Jagaran Manch. The fund officials were also present at Stall No. 3, Dome 1, Dussehra Ground, Phase 8, Mohali, Punjab from 4th to 8th November 2015 to attend the prospective entrepreneurs. IFCI Venture officials have contacted around 50 industry associations across different geographies in India to create awareness about the fund. IFCI Venture officials have participated in awareness camp of National Corporations at Ujjain on 24th December 2015 to create awareness about the fund. IFCI Venture officials have participated in Foundation stone laying Ceremony of Dr. Ambedkar National Memorial and Dr. Ambedkar Memorial lecture at Vigyan Bhawan, Delhi on 21st March IFCI Venture had participated in the Dalit Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DICCI) EXPO 2016 at Bombay Exhibition Center, Goregaon, Mumbai from 25th March 2016 to 27th March 2016 to create awareness of the Scheme. IFCI Venture officials have participated in foundation stone laying ceremony of OBC Girls Hostel at Indore, Madhya Pradesh on 20th May 2016 to create awareness of the Scheme. IFCI Venture officials have participated in 13th Entrepreneurship Oriented Seminar for SC/ST organized by DICCI Gujarat Chapter on 21st May 2016 in Ahmedabad Management Association (AMA), Ahmedabad, Gujarat to create awareness of the Scheme. IFCI Venture has organized a Scheduled Castes Entrepreneurs Meet at Haldwani, Uttarakhand on 31st May 2016 for creating awareness about the fund and for interacting and inviting applications from SC Entrepreneurs. An advertisement by IFCI Venture was published in Hindi Ranchi, Jharkhand on 16th June 2016 in Prabhat Khabar newspaper. Further, two officials were available at Ranchi for attending the prospective entrepreneur. IFCI Venture also participated in ASSOCHAM s Stand up Summit cum Awards event at Ranchi on 17th June 2016 for creating awareness of the fund. IFCI Venture participated in the Study Tour Programme of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Social Justice and Empowerment at Chandigarh from to Letter/Communications sent to Industry Partners and Associations based out at Agra, Chennai and Coimbatore for scheduling a meeting to discuss &create awareness about the VCF-SC and CEGSSC Schemes. IFCI Venture official had met various industry partners and associations like CODISSIA, District Industries Centre, SIEMA, SIMA, COINDIA, CII and Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Coimbatore based at Coimbatore on 29th July 2016 for creating awareness about the fund. IFCI Venture had organized a Scheduled Castes Entrepreneurs Meet at Udaipur and Kota, Rajasthan on 3rd August and 4th August 2016 respectively for creating awareness about the fund and for interacting and inviting applications from SC Entrepreneurs. IFCI Venture officials have participated in the launch function of the DICCI Chhattisgarh Chapter at Raipur on 26th Aug'16, where the Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh, Other State Ministers, DIC- Chhattisgarh Officials and other FI s has participated. Further, more than 125 SC Entrepreneurs have also participated in the event. IFCI Venture officials had attended the inaugural function of one of the portfolio company named BP Sons and Entertainment Private at Lucknow on 3rd September The local SC entrepreneurs also participated in the event and awareness about the scheme was created. IFCI Venture officials have participated in the launch function of DICCI Bihar Chapter at Patna on 10th Sept 16, where the Governor of Bihar, Shri Ram Vilas Paswan Hon ble Union Minister of Food and Public Distribution, Shri Chirag Paswan Member of Parliament, Other State Ministers and DIC- Bihar officials participated. IFCI Venture officials had attended the inaugural function of one of the portfolio company named Mallur Flora and Hospitality Pvt. at Constitution Club of India, Delhi on 11th October The bureaucrats and SC entrepreneurs also participated in the event and awareness about the scheme was created. A meeting with the officials of IFCI and IFCI Venture Capital Funds Limited, various entrepreneurs under the scheme of VCF-SC and CEGSSC was held under the chairmanship of Secretary (MOSJE) on November 12, 2016 at to review the status of the schemes with respect to the SC entrepreneurs who have applied under both the schemes. The local SC entrepreneurs also participated in the event and awareness about the scheme was created. Further, IFCI Venture Officials were present at Guwahati on 16th Dec 16 to attend the prospective entrepreneurs. IFCI Venture officials had participated in Regional Meeting with States and Regional Resources & Training Centres (RRTCs) on digital payments organized by Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment on 16th December 2016 in Guwahati, Assam. A detailed presentation of VCF-SC was delivered to create awareness of the Scheme. Further, IFCI Venture has also put up a stall at the venue for attending the prospective clients under VCF-SC. An advertisement under VCF-SC was published in newspapers viz. Sambad and Times of India i.e. in Oriya and English language on 12th April 2017 in Orissa. Further, a conference on VCF-SC was organized on 13th April 2017 in Bhubaneswar, Orissa.
