Prior to joining NAA, Walter was a Sr. Director at Cushman & Wakefield and was responsible for acquisition and disposition strategy as well as underwriting and valuation oversight. During his tenure at Cushman & Wakefield, Walter was involved in over 50 multifamily transactions with an aggregate value north of a billion dollars. Prior to that, Walter was a principal at Hightower/Montague Associates, a boutique brokerage firm specializing in assisting small business owners with their commercial real estate and financing needs. Walter is on the Board of Directors of Crawford Austin Properties, a privately held real estate firm which owns and manages industrial and retail properties in central and southeast Texas. He received his M.B.A. from Bauer School of Business at the University of Houston in 2002, and his B.S. from the University of Colorado at Boulder in He is a licensed Texas Real Estate Salesman and Broker since 1994 and has been active in commercial real estate for 20+ years. SHAYAN HASNAIN sh@naa-usa.com Director of National Apartment Advisors, Shayan specializes in multi-family and land brokerage with an emphasis on class B and C apartment properties for both institutional and private investors.
