The minor includes a unified core of courses for all students irrespective of major or college, and follow on specialty tracks for each college within the university. Founded and Co-Directed of the Penn State Innovation and Commercialization Graduate Program. This program forms cross functional teams of graduate students from Business, Law, Engineering, and the Sciences to take raw university technology, analyses its commercial potential and bring it to market. Helped develop and manage the Global Consortium of Entrepreneurship Center Directors 2010 annual meeting, which had over 200 representatives from 183 centers and 15 different countries at Penn State for a 3-day event Managed the yearly Nittany Lion Venture Capital and Entrepreneurship Conference where angel investors, venture capitalists and entrepreneurs come from around the world to network and learn at Penn State Developed and taught undergraduate, MBA, EMBA and Executive Education courses in Innovation, Strategic Management and Entrepreneurship Developed and promoted learn-by-doing pedagogical advances in teaching innovation and entrepreneurship using problem based learning and scenario learning Worked with student groups to coordinate on campus launch events and demo days for investors Managed the Smeal IdeaPitch Competition, a pre-business plan competition that has helped to launch over a dozen companies with over 20 million in follow on funding. Funded and coordinated interdisciplinary research in creativity, innovation and entrepreneurship across campus. Includes twice yearly research roundtables for researchers from all the universities colleges. Co-founded the Penn State Center for Student Entrepreneurship Lion LaunchPad.
