1 AIHA-GLS Nominations for Officers and Directors Candidate for the Position off President-elect enhancee the Local John R. Moore III, MS, CIH CIH Georgia Power Member of AHIA and GLS AHIA None in AIHA. John has most recently served on the board for SEM Link Inc., an organization promoting science, engineering, and math to students. He previously served on boards for the American Association for Blacks in Energy, National Urban League Young Professionals and NSBE in Ohio and North Carolina. At Georgia Power John is a Senior Industrial Hygienist responsible for developing and maintaining industrial hygiene programs to ensure compliance with occupational health regulations and guidelines. He has held various positions at Georgia Power in the Environmental Affairs Department, and in the Safety and Health Organization. He assists plants and other facilities in the recognition, evaluation, and control of health hazards. He has several years of experience in different industries as a consultant and industrial hygienist, withh the government, private industry, and in the Research and Development field. John holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Hygiene and Safety from Saint Augustine s College and a Masters degree from the University of Cincinnati in Environmental and Industrial Hygiene. As President Elect John will work to understand the needs of the IH professional and addresss those needs through networking and education events. He will also encourage students and new IH professionals to participate and have a voice in AIHA. He will represent and express concerns at the local section level to those at the national office. John has a proven record as a leader in his company, other organizations and in his community.

2 Candidate for the Position of Secretary Della Ridley, CIH, CSP CIH, CSP H,S,E Consultant Della has been an active member of AIHA and the GA Local Section for 30 years, and is one of GLS longest-standing members. She helped developed some of our initial operating procedures. Current Secretary, Past Secretary and Treasurer: GA Local Section Della recently retired from Abbott (formerly Solvay Pharmaceuticals) where she held the position of Environmental, Health and Safety Manager. Prior to joining Solvay, she held similar positions at Safety-Kleen and Lockheed. B.A. in Chemistry from LaGrange College. As local section secretary, I will continue the work of previous officers and strive to make continuous improvements, by maintaining communications with members, responding to member requests, completing local section recordkeeping, and arranging quality meetings.

3 Candidate for the Position of Treasurer Pat Brogan CIH, ROH PAB Consulting, LLC : member since 2000/ National member since 1981 Georgia LS Treasurer; MIHS President, Treasurer, Director MS in Occupational and Environmental Health Sciences and Ph.D. in Instructional Technology from Wayne State University, Detroit, MI. Over thirty years in industrial hygiene field with Clayton Environmental Consultants, Ford Motor Company, Wayne State University, Golder Associates, Inc. I have been Treasurer for the last 2 years. During that time, I have more clearly defined the responsibilities of the Treasurer within the Georgia. I have instituted a budget process for the Board. I would like to continue in this office for one more year.

4 Candidates for the Position of 1st-Year Director (2-yr Term) Nicole L. Ivers, CIH CIH CDM Smith Nicole has been a member of national AIHA since 2004, the Michigan chapter (MIHS) from , and GLS since Nicole was elected to the Board of Directors for the Michigan local chapter (MIHS) of AIHA before moving to Atlanta in She was also the Vice-President of the Wayne State Student Industrial Hygiene Association from Nicole has spent the last 2.5 years as the Committee Chairperson of the Health and Safety Committee for the Georgia Association of Water Professionals where one of her main responsibilities was obtaining speakers for each of the 4 annual conferences. Nicole has a M.S. in Occupational and Environmental Health Sciences (Industrial Hygiene) from Wayne State University. While at Wayne State and upon graduation, she received the 3M Industrial Hygiene Scholarship (2004) and was awarded the Outstanding Student of the Year award, as well as the Class of 2005 Tope Grade Point award (2005). Nicole is currently a Health and Safety Manager and Certified Industrial Hygienist with CDM Smith. She assists with the implementation of CDM Smith s health and safety program as wells as providing oversight and industrial hygiene services on construction, demolition, and hazardous waste/remediation projects. She also provides health and safety training, writes and reviews site-specific health and safety plans (HASPs), creates Activity Hazard Assessments (AHAs), and records and documents incident reports and investigations. She has given numerous technical presentations on various health and safety topics in locations from Georgia to the Middle East. As a Director for the GLS, I would continue the hard work and commitment by all those involved in GLS. Having been active in professional organizations previously, I understand the commitment it takes to provide interesting and pertinent speakers for meetings, promote membership, and develop the benefits one receives through participation in GLS. Through my 11 years of varied experience in industrial, municipal, and construction, I would hope to bring new contacts and opportunities for speakers to the group.

5 Candidates for the Position of 1st-Year Director (2-yr Term) Brian S. Muller, MSPH, CIH, CSP, CHMM CIH, CSP, CHMM The General Electric Company Brian has been an active member of the National AIHA since 2002 and has been an active member on both the Alabama ( ) and Georgia (2009 to present) s. Brian has not previously held office with the GA. However, Brian has served as a Board Member with the Alabama Society of Hazardous Materials Managers and is currently serving on the Board for the Georgia EHS Conference. Brian has a BS in Environmental Biology from Georgia Tech and a MSPH in Industrial Hygiene from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Brian has over 17 years of experience as an EHS professional and has worked in a variety of industries including steel, chemical, automotive, and beverage manufacturing, hazardous waste management, environmental remediation, and information technology. He is currently the Global EHS Leader for The General Electric Company Global Infrastructure Services. Throughout my career I have held a true passion for the field of Industrial Hygiene and the EHS field as a whole. I firmly believe in the mission of the GA AIHA to promote, protect, and enhance industrial hygienists and other occupational health, safety and environmental professionals in their efforts to improve health and well-being of workers, the community, and the environment. I feel that my education and experience with a focus on emerging issues and outreach will benefit the organization and help to promote the profession. If elected I would support our Section Officers towards accomplishing the mission of the GA AIHA. I appreciate your consideration to have the opportunity to serve as Director for the GA AIHA.
