4 OUR RECENT HISTORY HIGHLIGHTS SINCE JUNE , June 22 GENERAL ANNUAL MEETING The Annual General Meeting 2016 was held at the premises of CCCI. A new and very enthusiastic Board of Directors has been elected. The new Board appointed a new President and two new Vice Presidents , June BUSINESS FORUMS FRANKFURT, MUNICH In co-operation with CCCI and the Cyprus Trade Centre in Germany, CGBA organised two business forums, promoting Cyprus as a base for business operations in the MENA region, and as an advanced EU jurisdiction for alternative funds companies (EU-AIFs). 4

5 OUR RECENT HISTORY HIGHLIGHTS SINCE JUNE , September 27 NETWORKING COCKTAIL LIMASSOL At the Londa Hotel, Limassol, with the attendance of the German Ambassador von Schöpff, a very successful event, attended by 130 people. 2016, November 22 NETWORKING COCKTAIL NICOSIA In Hilton Nicosia, with the attendance of the Ambassadors of Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Qatar, and Kuwait, bringing 100 attendees together. 5

6 OUR RECENT HISTORY HIGHLIGHTS SINCE JUNE , December 01 NETWORKING RECEPTION BERLIN Introducing CGBA to the economic and political circles in Berlin, honoured by the appealing keynote speaker Mr Uwe Beckmeyer, Parliamentarian Secretary of State at the German Ministry of Economy and Energy. 2017, August 30 BUSINESS LUNCH WITH POLITICAL DELEGATION FROM SACHSEN-ANHALT Representatives of the Board of CGBA attended a business lunch with political representatives of the government and the parliament of Sachsen-Anhalt, from Magdeburg, and the Head of Mission of the German Embassy, Dr. Zanker. The two groups discussed and evaluated possible cooperations. 6

7 OUR RECENT HISTORY HIGHLIGHTS SINCE JUNE , October 20/21 RETREAT BRAINSTORMING EVENT IN MILIOU A milestone of all CCCI Business Association in Cyprus: We defined our Visions, Mission, Values and Strategic Objectives! 8 OUR RECENT HISTORY HIGHLIGHTS SINCE JUNE 2016 Since June 2016 MORE THAN 30 NEW MEMBERS The commitment of our Board and the increasing public appearance of our Association attracted more than 30 new members since June last year OUR FUTURE Our future is defined by our new visions, mission, strategic objectives and values. STOP WISHING START DOING Steve Jobbs ENTHUSIASTIC COMMITMENT The current Board Members are keen to drive the Association to new heights and to expand its scope of services. Therefore, it decided to meet every last Tuesday of the month. In order to increase efficiency and to better face the work load, the Board increased the number of Vice Presidents to two.
