He is a metallurgical engineer with a broad background that includes minerals extraction and minerals processing, extractive and physical metallurgy and analytical chemistry. He is also a seasoned technical manager with 20+ years experience in managing and directing research programs and technology development. He has been trained in project management, total quality management, continuous improvement processes along with various statistical tools and methodologies. He consults with various clients on business improvement specializing in yield and profitability enhancement and cost reduction. 6 Roger Walburn The Steelmaking Processes Metallurgist, Manager - Customer & Product Development, NLMK-USA Roger graduated from Carnegie Mellon University in 1995, majoring in Materials Science Engineering. He started his career as a co-op student at Allegheny Technologies in 1993 working in various capacities throughout the Vandergrift plant. Topics Covered: Liquid Steelmaking BOF EAF Casting Rolling Coating Finished Products This eventually led to a position as Process Metallurgist in the Brackenridge plant upon graduation. In 1999, he was promoted to Senior Product Metallurgist for the entire Titanium Sheet & Strip product division during its start-up as a product line. In 2004, Roger left ATI to work for NLMK-Pennsylvania (formerly Duferco Farrell Corporation), leading the processing engineering efforts in their finishing mill. This eventually led to the position of Manager of Applications and Routings where he was responsible for developing and maintaining the product routings that ensure all customer product and purchase order requirements are met, and in the most cost effective manner possible. He is also the principle lead metallurgist for all technical inquiries for the family of NLMK-USA companies that operate in the USA, which includes NLMK-Pennsylvania, Sharon Coating and NLMK - Indiana. Roger was recently promoted to the newly created position of Manager - Customer & Product Development. In this role, Roger will work closely with customers and inside/outside Sales on new product development, product training, order integrity, and improving commercial services. A primary focus of this new position will be clarifying customer material requirements. Roger will take an active role in commercial strategic growth opportunities within various target markets and will work very close with the quality and operations departments.

8 Glenn Kidd Steel s Markets Glenn is retired from US Steel where he was the director of market research and strategy. In that capacity he was responsible for all aspects of market analysis and classification. He is now an independent consultant on issues relating to market development and potential markets for steel products. As a senior leader he has transformed sourcing organizations and delivered value by integrating supply chains into the corporate matrix. His most recent assignment was with Alghanim Industries in the Middle East and Asia. At Alghanim, Peter led the global sourcing team as the Director, Purchasing. Peter was also a Sr. leader with BlueScope Steel where his role encompassed the development of sourcing best practices through the evaluation of resources, processes, and the organizational structure. Prior to that, he was the Director of Global Strategic Metals for USG Corporation for 10 years, where he was responsible for re-engineering the global metals supply chain to maximize profitability and efficiency. Peter holds a Bachelors degree in economics from the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign.
