Boland s Mill is locating in south Dublin beside recent developed Grand Canal Square and overlooking the Grand Canal itself, it is connection point between Liffey River and Grand Canal, the current

In 2015 the planning permission was granted for Boland s Quay project, including office buildings, apartments and conservation of existing buildings. The Bolands Quay site includes a number of buildings, two six-storeys stone warehouse buildings, Bolands Flour Mills, it built around time in 1830s, others on Barrow Street built around 1870s and the complex consists of concrete silos built between 1940s and 1960s (currently is knocked). The mill stopped production in 2001 and the site has been abandoned since then. In 1916 during the Easter Rising, this complex of buildings was seized by members of the 3rd Battalion of the Irish Volunteers led by Éamon De Valera who would be later president of Ireland. A five storey concrete framed structure, with a lower curving corner to Macken Street.
