Biographical/historical note: Mary Ritchie Simmons Tutterow was the daughter of T. Ritchie Simmons, a Charleston attorney, and Agatha Aimar Simmons. Scope and content: Collection consists of personal papers of Mary Ritchie Simmons Tutterow, papers of various members of the Aimar family, as well as papers of the related families of Jacques, Shaffer, and Simmons. Simmons family papers include estate records of Sarah L. Simmons, and papers of Lomax Simmons and Morton Waring Simmons.
