1 Scope and Contents Note The Corey Woods Garden Club began in 1962 in what then was one of the newest developments in the Toledo area. The Club records were given to the Local History Department, Toledo-Lucas County Public Library in order to preserve the records of the organization. The major part of the collection consists of minutes beginning with 1962 and yearbooks beginning with Histories of the Club written for the thirtieth and fortieth anniversary celebrations are included. Rosters of members for each year from 1965 until 2002 are a valuable part of the collection. There also were four photograph albums and one scrapbook in the collection. The photograph albums were photocopied on a color copier to preserve the record of the albums; however, the photographs have been removed and housed in acid free envelopes to preserve them for the future.
