Digging dirt Pulling up weeds Watering plants Planting seeds Pulling carrots out of the ground Feeding animals Session 10 (available online at Abigail s actions Cleaning a sheep pen Copy these instructions for Explore (Move). If you have a large group, divide the group into teams. Give each team a copy of these instructions and have them race to complete the activities. 1. Work together to draw 5 sheep, 20 loaves of bread, 2 jugs of wine, 10 clusters of raisins, 20 fig cakes, and some grain. (Note: Abigail really took 200 loaves of bread, 100 clusters of raisins, and 200 fig cakes!) 2. One at a time, go around the room pretending to ride a donkey while carrying your drawing. Everyone must touch each corner of the room. Pass off the drawing to the next person as he or she begins. 3. As a group, bow low (touch your forehead to the ground) 5 times. Bear with one another and, (hold hands with a partner) if anyone has a complaint against another, (turn away from partner and cross arms angrily) forgive each other; (turn back to partner and hold hands) just as the Lord has forgiven you, (extend both arms overhead) so you also must forgive. (Hold hands with partner.) Above all, clothe yourselves with love, (pretend to get dressed) which binds everything together in perfect harmony. (Interlock your fingers.) And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, (hold up two fingers to make peace sign; place other hand by your heart) to which indeed you were called in the one body. (Hold hands with partner.)
