1 1. OPENING OF MEETING. SWEA LA ANNUAL MEETING Petit Ermitage 6 pm. Birgitta Lauren opened the Meeting, welcomed everyone and read the SWEA LA 2013 Annual Report. 2. NOMINATION AND SELECTION OF a. President of the Meeting. Siv made a Motion to nominate Gunilla Horacek as president of the Meeting. Anna-Karin Kight second. The Motion carried unanimously. b. Meeting secretary. Christina Sterling made a Motion to nominate Siv Åberg as secretary of the Meeting. Gunilla Horacek second. The Motion carried unanimously. c. Nominating Committee and Vote Collectors for Marie-Louise Freim made a Motion to nominate Kim Johnson, Birgitta Lauren and Siv Åberg as Nomination Committee and Vote Collectors. Josephina Fernstrom second. The Motion carried unanimously. 3. THE MEETING TURNED OVER TO GUNILLA HORACEK. 4. ACCEPTANCE OF AGENDA. Marie-Louise made a Motion to accept the Agenda. Anna-Karin second. The Motion carried unanimously.

2 5. ACCEPTANCE OF MINUTES FROM 2013 ANNUAL MEETING. Ingegerd Landström made a Motion to accept the Minutes. Kerstin Lenzie second. The Motion carried unanimously FINANCIAL REPORT. Christina Sterling reviewed the Year-End Financial report for 2013, which was available on everyone s place setting. SWEA LA has a total balance of $491,000. The 2013 SWEA LA Christmas Fair produced a profit of $22,841. Our Investment Account showed a net gain of $50, GRANT THE BOARD INDEMNITY FOR FISCAL YEAR Cornelia Granath made a Motion to grant the Board indemnity. Josephina second. The Motion carried unanimously. 8. ELECTION OF 2014 SWEA LA FILM COMMITTEE Suggested Members: Cecilia De Rico, Josephina Fernstrom, Gudrun Giddings and Siv Åberg. Birgitta Alm-Rubanowitz made a Motion to elect the Suggested Members. Boel Kolber second. The Motion carried unanimously. A 5 th Member will be elected from the new Board Members during their first Board Meeting.

3 9. MEMBERSHIP REPORT. Birgitta Alm-Rubanowitz informed that SWEA LA now has 142 Members. The incentive of a discounted fee prior to , proved to be successful. The regular annual Membership Fee of $65 will be unchanged. Berit Stenhoj made a motion to approve the Membership Fee. Anita Bergsten second. The Motion carried unanimously. 10. SWEA INTERNATIONAL AND VAME Birgitta Lauren reported on her experiences during the 2013 SWEA International meeting in Bologna and gave an update on VAME. 11. DEPARTING AND INCOMING BOARD MEMBERS Departing members present: Birgitta Lauren and Siv Åberg. Departing Members absent: Britta Eriksson, Britt-Marie Sixtensson, Nina Kinch and Ottiliana Rolandson. Incoming Members present: Anna-Karin Kight, Marie-Louise Freim, Kim Johnson, Rodnina Harvey and Victoria Sellers. Incoming Members absent: Sanna Wilkinson and Hanna Claesson-Diös. Remaining Members present: Christina Sterling and Birgitta Alm- Rubanowitz. Remaining Member absent: Helene Kardemark. Anna-Karin, incoming President, presented Birgitta, departing President, with a gift from Huset. Birgitta presented Anna-Karin with flowers. Siv was thanked by Birgitta with a gift from Huset.

4 Cecilia De Rico was thanked with flowers and a gift. All participants received SWEA leather key rings. 12. OTHER MATTERS. SWEA LA 2014 FILM SCHOLARSHIP AWARD Cecilia De Rico informed about the election process. We received 33 applications, many of them of impressive quality. Our award is the second largest Film Award in Sweden, and it is important to get the message out through our combined contacts in the media in Sweden. Cecilia introduced our 2014 SWEA LA Film Scholarship Award recipient, Anders Hellström, who expressed his great appreciation and shared his enthusiasm over being in Los Angeles to learn more about his craft as Model Builder and scene designer for film and TV. 6:37 PM. Gunilla declared the Meeting adjourned. A dinner followed and we were entertained by the talented Marit Baldecchi, Maria Isaacs and John Huldt.
