The Clerk is awaiting the form from Nat West 1.8 DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST Non Pecuniary: Nil Disclosable Pecuniary Interest: Nil 2. MINUTES OF THE MEETING held on MONDAY 13 TH APRIL 2015 were all approved and agreed as a true and correct record of the meeting, these were signed and dated by the Chairman. 3. MATTERS ARISING 3.1 Parish Hall Land Registration S Osborne and the witness need to sign the forms and these need to be sent to the Solicitor for the next stage of the land registration. 3.2 Daventry Parish Councils Summit Northants Police have volunteered to do a knock and drop event in Long Buckby, as a recruitment drive for volunteer roles. It was agreed by all that this offer should be accepted. 4. PUBLIC TIME Nil 5. COUNTY AND DISTRICT COUNCILLORS REPORTS DDC Diana Osborne was duly elected as District Councillor for the Long Buckby Ward, following the election on the 7 th May All twelve seats involved throughout the District were awarded to the Conservatives. The Committees will be decided within the coming month. NCC There is a new Chairman incoming. 6. BUSINESS 6.1 Parish Councillor Vacancies There are now 11 Parish Councillors for Long Buckby and Long Buckby Wharf, leaving 3 vacancies. There is no need to co-opt additional members at the moment, however this will be reviewed in six months. 6.2 Audit & Annual Governance Statement 2014/15 - It was proposed by J Christie, seconded by J York, and all voted in favour to approve the final accounts and annual governance statement for 2014/15 and confirm that these can be submitted to the External Auditors. The Internal Audit will take place on 20th May Aon Insurance Review Policy Cover for It was agreed by all that the cover provided is sufficient and covers the needs of the Parish Council. The price has remained similar for the forthcoming year 6.4 High Street/Brington Road Following resurfacing of the road last year, the surface continues to be unacceptable with water gathering on this junction. NCC stated that the remedial works would be completed earlier this year. The Clerk will contact Ian Boyes for an update on the situation. J Christie mentioned that water was also gathering outside the public toilets following heavy rainfall. 6.5 Double Yellow Lines Railway Station NCC have stated that the proposed double yellow lines should start from the Bovis development to the start of the 30mph speed limit sign. The Parish Council would like to see these extended to the Rockhill Road and Watson Road junctions as cars are parking dangerously here all the time, this is not just railway station users. Residents in the affected properties do have access at the rear of their properties.

3 6.6 DDC - Draft Community Engagement Strategy Consultation This was passed to D Stoddart to review and submit any comments on behalf of Long Buckby Parish Council. 6.7 CCTV Cameras, Market Place The Clerk will contact three companies to provide advice and quotes for the upgrading of the CCTV cameras, which can then be discussed at the precept meeting in October for funding for the project in 2016/17. An update will be provided once the quotes are available. 7. COUNCILLORS REPORTS and RISK ASSESSMENTS 9.1 Cemetery 9.2 Allotments The steps to the stream need strimming and the Clerk will instruct G Kenning to undertake this task. 9.3 Public Toilets A redecoration is needed; this will be precept for in October for 2016/ Cotton End Park The lambs are nearly ready to go to market. A CCTV camera is needed to provide security at the Park.

CORRESPONDENCE 10.1 DDC Parish & Town Councils Meeting Thursday 11 th June Phil Townsend and John Christie will attend on behalf of Long Buckby Parish Council Brington Road Grass verges damage This problem is noted by the Parish Council but there is no suitable option currently available. Double yellow lines would only aid the major planning application that is due in at DDC shortly NCALC Un-metered Street Lighting Costs (E-On) NCALC are currently reviewing the various providers and undertaking a cost analysis to see if cheaper options for un-metered street lighting can be found, other then E-On DDC 800 th Anniversary of the Sealing of Magna Carta This information will be passed to the History Society and Schools NCC Extension of Temporary Closure Order Public Footpath - EY3 This extension has been put in place until 2017 due to the Bovis development, which is ongoing The United Charities Rent Increase for Cotton End Park The annual rent has increased by 10% to 1,100 from 21 st September Meeting Closed: 8:38pm
