1 COIN AND OTHER CABINETS A pair of coin cabinets from the celebrated R C Lockett Collection 2874 A Pair of early 20 th Century plain cube style Mahogany Coin Cabinets, by Turton, 245mm wide x 250mm deep x 230mm high, numbered 1 and 2, plain double doors, each containing 19 double-pierced trays, various sizes, white pulls, two per tray, locks (no keys), one with brass top handle, the other lacking. Apart from fault noted, in good condition. (2) R C Lockett ( ), prolific collector and life-long Baldwin customer, whose coins were catalogued by Baldwin s and auctioned by Glendining s in 13 sales between 1955 and A late 18 th or early 19 th Century Mahogany Coin Cabinet, 480mm wide x 330mm deep x 315mm high, solid doors with veneer and ebony inlay, containing 17 double pierced coin trays and a plain tray, white pulls, bone escutcheon (one missing), brass side handles. Some cracks and chips to corners and back, doors a little curled, otherwise in good order

2 2876 A late 18 th Century Mahogany Coin Cabinet, 500mm wide x 360mm deep x 290mm high, solid veneered doors, containing 30 double pierced trays in two banks, numbered square brass pulls, brass side handles, lock and key. Some chips and minor loss at back, otherwise a handsome early cabinet in good order An early 19 th Century Mahogany Collector s Cabinet, 500mm wide x 295mm deep x 295mm high, containing 24 trays in two banks, fitted with square plush lined divisions, turned bone pulls, panel doors with bobbin turned quadrant beads around panels, handsome brass side handles, lock, no key. Some pulls are replacements, otherwise very good condition

3 2878 A 19 th Century Indian hardwood Coin Cabinet (possibly padauk wood), 375mm wide x 270mm deep x 305mm high, plain veneered doors, containing 16 double pierced coin trays and two plain trays, square numbered brass pulls, brass meeting bead and side handles, lock and key. A handsome cabinet in an unusual wood with distinctive grain, in good condition A mid 19 th Century Mahogany Coin Cabinet, 360mm wide x 355mm deep x 360mm high, containing 24 double pierced trays, brass pulls and side handles, panel doors with ebony beads, brass meeting bead, lock, no key, Spink name on bolt. Good condition

A little distressed, but attractive An early 20 th Century Mahogany Coin Cabinet, 400mm wide x 330mm deep x 355mm high, containing 25 double pierced trays, brass pulls and label holders, A H Baldwin ivorine label. In good condition

Doors curled, some marks, internally sound An early 20 th Century Mahogany open front carcase Coin Cabinet, 360mm wide x 345mm deep x 480mm high, containing 36 double pierced trays, white pulls and brass label holders. A capacious and serviceable cabinet

6 A small Lincoln type Mahogany Coin Cabinet, lift up top, drop front, 305mm wide x 270mm deep x 115mm high, containing six trays, brass pulls and side handles, lock, no key. In good condition A Modern Pine Microscope Slide Cabinet, 385mm wide x 330mm deep x 395mm high, containing 28 shallow trays each divided into three felt lined rows, single glass door, brass side handles, lock and key. Used condition A small Regency Brass Bound Hardwood Campaign Chest, 435mm wide x 330mm deep x 265mm high, with lifting lid and drawer, no internal fittings, but probably built for cutlery and plate, lock and key. A little loose, but attractive
