2 The Trip Friday, June 21 Saturday, June 22, 2013 NON SCHOOL SPONSORED The Grads will board the buses at Brookvale Shopping Center parking lot 7:00 AM SHARP AHS Student ID card is required to board the buses NOTE : buses will not wait for late students. 10 Chaperones monitoring the event

3 Bus Ride to Disneyland Arrival time at Disneyland Approximately 3:00 PM 3 stops anticipated 2 for rest breaks and 1 for lunch (bring money) Students are NOT allowed to arrive in Studentdriven vehicles to the event.

4 Park Hop Opportunity You can Park Hop until 11:00 PM then you must meet your chaperone and enter California Adventure for the Grad Night Party until 3:00 AM Buses will depart approximately at 3:30 AM NOTE: again buses will not wait please be on time

5 Park Rules Student Information Remember, this is your night, Class of 2013! One last night of fun to celebrate your hard work. To ensure the fun and safety of all of our Guests at Grad Nite, it is expected that all Students adhere to all rules. Disneyland Grad Nite is a drug, alcohol, and weapon free event. Anaheim Law Enforcement will be present upon check in and during the event and will take appropriate actions if drugs, alcohol, drug paraphernalia or weapons are found.

6 Park Rules On the day of your Grad Nite event, only take with you the things you really need and leave every thing else at home. Please have your Disneyland Grad Nite admission ticket ready and your Disneyland Grad Nite wristband on your right arm as you as you enter the turnstiles and keep your tickets in a safe place! Get ready for a security bag check. Keep your student ID and Grad Nite ticket in a safe and secure place and your Grad Nite wristband on at all times.

7 Park Rules Anyone not adhering to the Disneyland Resort Dress Code Guidelines or Prohibited Items List will be delayed and/or denied admission to the event. Double check to make sure you are following the Dress Code Guidelines and Prohibited Items List (see pages 18 19).

8 Park Rules Please be courteous and respectful to those around you, including other Grads, Day Guests and Disneyland Cast Members Please refrain from using inappropriate language, especially around our little Guests Please do not run while at the Disneyland Resort When in queues for attractions, please refrain from yelling at high volumes The goal of the Disneyland Resort is to provide a safe, secure environment for all of our Guests to enjoy and that includes all of you! We ask that you represent yourselves, your schools and your generation in a positive light. Celebrate with us in a way that you can be proud of

9 Park Rules Students must not: Possess or distribute any material prohibited such as drugs, drug paraphernalia, alcohol, weapons or any gang related items Fight or engage in horseplay Harass others for any reason Chant school names. Note: Disneyland Grad Nite is a non smoking event. No one, regardless of age, will be allowed to smoke at any time during the event inside the Parks.

10 Park Rules If you lose items on the night of your Grad Nite, check with a Disney Cast Member at the Chaperone Headquarters (Golden Vine Winery). If following your Grad Nite event you realize items were lost or left in a locker contact Lost & Found at (714)

11 Dress Code Guidelines It is ultimately the school s responsibility to ensure that all Students and Chaperones adhere to the Disneyland Resort Grad Nite Dress Code Guidelines. Failure to follow the Dress Code Guidelines may result in delayed admission and/or denial of admission to the Disneyland Resort or Grad Nite event. Disneyland Resort Security has the right to refuse admission to anyone they deem inappropriately dressed. All apparel must be in good condition (excessively ripped or torn jeans, shirts, etc. are prohibited) and extremely revealing clothing is not allowed.

12 Park Rules Prohibited Items Pets (Service Animals are permitted and must be wearing an identifying assistive companion vest; pets may be kept at the on site kennel) Wagons Skateboards Scooters (motorized and non motorized) Inline skates Shoes with built in wheels Bicycles Motorcycles Tricycles Unicycles Pogo sticks 2 wheeled vehicles, including Segway Human Transporters

13 Park Rules Prohibited Items Strollers larger than 36 x 52 Suitcases, backpacks or similar bags with wheels Suitcases, backpacks or similar bags larger than 18 wide x 25 high x 37 deep (the size of our large rentable lockers) Any trailer like object that is pushed or towed by an ECV, wheelchair or stroller Note: Guests are not permitted to pull items behind them. Any item that requires a Guest to pull it behind him or her, including a stroller, is not permitted into the theme parks. Coolers larger than 6 pack sized are not permitted into the theme parks. Note: Guest can store coolers up to 18 wide x 25 high x 37 deep in rentable large lockers located outside the Disneyland Park Main Entrance. Lockers are not refrigerated and availability is limited. Guests who need to refrigerate medication may do so at First Aid. Exceptions may be made for special dietary or religious needs.

14 Park Rules Prohibited Items Alcoholic beverages Any illegal substances Folding chairs, with the exception of cane chair and seat walker mobility aids Glass containers, with the exception of baby food containers, medicine or small perfume bottles (under 4 oz) Costumes on Guests older than age 9, except during special events that permit children up to age 12 to wear costumes Water pistols, toy guns and replica weapons, with the exception of those sold in the Disneyland Resort Sporting goods or equipment (e.g., baseball bats, helmets, hockey sticks, golf clubs, bows and arrows, camping equipment, chairs, stools, tables and Frisbees) Weapons of any kind (including guns, knives, billy clubs, brass knuckles, nunchucks, stars and other martial arts equipment)

15 Park Rules Prohibited Items Self defense equipment (pepper spray, mace, stun guns) Restraining devices (e.g., handcuffs, zip ties) or any suspicious items (e.g., box cutters, razor blades, duct tape, wire) Items that may be disruptive (e.g. laser pointers, slingshots, stink bombs, air horns) Cremated remains (e.g., urns, vases, boxes) Miscellaneous other items (tools, fire extinguishers, musical instruments, megaphones, pots and pans) Professional cameras and recording equipment. Reporters must make prior arrangements with Disneyland Resort Media Relations. Folding tripod stands that can fit inside a standard backpack are permitted. Clothing or tattoos with obscene, lewd or offensive language, graphics or designs

16 Park Rules Prohibited Items Clothing that could be construed as indecent, exposing excessive portions of skin that may be viewed as inappropriate for a family environment (e.g., string bikini tops and bottoms, G strings, excessively torn clothing) Bare feet Weapons or accessories that appear to be weapons (i.e., bullet belts) Clothing or accessories that drag on the ground and create a potential tripping hazard Wedding dresses Sharp or pointed accessories that may cause injury Masks or makeup that could be construed as part of a costume (with the exception of special events) Exception: Attire intended to identify those wearing it is acceptable (e.g., military uniforms, cultural attire)

17 Disney s Photo Pass Service The Disney s PhotoPass Service presents Grads with a convenient way to capture treasured moments. Using the latest digital equipment and Disney engineered technology, photographers take photos of Grads who then receive a Disney s PhotoPass card that links all of their Grad Nite photos together into one online account. Instead of waiting in line in the Theme Parks to view or pick up pictures, Students can go online after the event at to easily view, share and order photos. You can get the same photo added to more than one card; just let the photographer know and they ll be happy to scan your photos onto multiple cards.

18 REVIEW Buses will board at Brookvale Shopping Center at 7:00 AM sharp be there early buses will not wait bring AHS student ID (required to board the bus) Bring money for travel breaks both going down and coming home NO students allowed to drive themselves must take bus only

19 REVIEW Park hop until 11:00 PM then you must meet with your chaperone to enter the Grad Night Event Make sure you keep your AHS ID, Wristband and Disney ticket safe you will need them to get into the park Remember you are subject to being searched DO NOT bring inappropriate belongings!

20 REVIEW Follow all Park RULES Though you have graduated you still represent American High School DON T spoil it for the next class. Dress Appropriately Bring sweatshirt or light weight jacket? When event is over follow directions to buses they will leave at 3:30 AM and WILL NOT wait for you! Only water allowed on the buses
