4 What do adjectives do? They tell us more about a noun. a cat an orange cat a fat orange cat Adjectives make sentences more interesting. He has a cat. He has a big fat stylish orange cat. 4

5 1) He is a smart student and a hard worker. 2) It is a dangerous road because there are many fast cars and big trucks. 3) They are adventurous when it comes to travelling to new places. 5

6 When we compare two things we use a different form of the adjective: big bigger fast faster 6

7 big We say that bigger is the comparative form of big we are comparing two people or things. We say that faster is the comparative form of fast we are comparing two people or things. The new Ferrari is faster than the old Ferrari. 7
