4 Directions Print selected game board, 4 player cards, and game moving pieces. Players need one penny per game. This game may be played by 2, 3, or 4 players. Be sure to use the same number of state draw cards as number of players. Players take turns in alphabetical order for the states version, and rainbow color order for the travel version (red, orange, green, or blue car). PLAY DIRECTIONS *Decide if game will end when one person wins or when all players get to Mount Rushmore. *Players draw state or travel cards to determine which state he or she will start from. *Students begin in one corner of the game board: Washington, California, Florida, Maine, or car color. *Play goes around the edge of the board to the right until player returns to his or her beginning state. *Players will follow directions on game board and cards drawn. *After player returns to beginning state, player advances towards Mount Rushmore. *Players flip a penny at each turn. Heads, advance one; tails, advance two and collect one card. OR -use one die, even numbers can draw one card (faster game). AND -> Follow the directions on game board or cards. *Game may be played in either direction, clockwise or counter-clockwise.
