The remaining pieces had crushed/creased edges and marks/lines overall. Photographs 23 & 24 refers. REMARKS As shown above, all pieces inspected were observed with crushed/creased edges and in the majority of cases the damage extended towards the centre of the hides to various lengths.

12 Leather Inspected: 1 roll (3 sides) Protec Black Hudson: Damage was very loose areas around the edge with loose bellies that went half way into the side. (See Photo) The surveyors could visibly see the damage and understood that this would not be suitable for supply. 1 roll (4 Sides) Protec Black Typhoon: Damage shown that skins had a lot of dirt and marks on the surface. Loose areas around the skin (See Photo) The surveyors agreed with the visible damage and accepted this could not go to our customer. 1 roll Charcoal ( 6 Doubles) Tibetan splits: Damage was lines across the skin that looked like pressure lines from the crushed cartons. The leather also looked faded and not even in colour (see photo) the surveyors accepted that this leather was damaged. 1 roll (4 sides) Barley Nubuck: Damage was scratch lines on the skins (See photo). Also faded lines across the skin (See photo) the damage was obvious and the surveyors agreed that we could not send this to our customer. Summary The scratches and dirty marks on the skins inspected gave us a better view of the overall damage which we originally suspected. The rolls where randomly chosen by the surveyors and inspected fully. This leather has been exposed through packaging being torn and broken. Skins have been scratched and soiled. Rolls has been crushed and marked. After this more intensive survey of the goods it is clear they cannot go to our intended customer. It was then mentioned by a third party who came in during the inspection that we might be asked to sign a letter of Abandonment.
