Gun loaded and holstered all reloads stowed on person. SCENARIO: You have just pulled into the day care center to pick up your kids when Omar Salam Kalifi shows up with his jihadi...er work mates for some non religious randomly motivated workplace violence. They attack you at the parking space and have also moved into the building to go after the kids. Fortunately you are prepared for just such a workplace event! PROCEDURE: At the signal draw and engage S1, T1, T2(flip up) and T3 (swinger activated by popper behind T1) while seated. Then exit the car and knock the "child" down to safety before engaging T4 which is a surprise drop turner (activated by "child") while on the move to cover at P2 or P3. Engage T5-T8 from cover at either P2 or P3. The window begins in the closed position. SCORING: Unlimited ROUND COUNT: 17 TARGETS: 08 DISTANCE: 6-10 yards SCORED HITS: 17 PENALTIES: per current IDPA rulebook CONCEALMENT: Yes NOTES: S1 must be 10 yards from P1. 4 Convenience Store Robbery RULES: IDPA Rules COURSE DESIGNER: Austin Proulx START POSITION: Standing at P1 facing cashier (PP1) arms length from T1. Gun loaded to division capacity and holstered. SCENARIO: SCORING: Unlimited You are in line at the local convenience store when some bad guys decide to rob ROUND COUNT: 15 the place. When you see the person in line in front of you pull a gun you push the cashier down to safety. Seeing your actions the bad guy and his buddies turn on TARGETS: 07 you and take some hostages. Save yourself and the innocent shoppers. DISTANCE: 2-8 yards PROCEDURE: SCORED HITS: 15 At the signal push the cashier (PP1) activating the drop turner (T1) and the PENALTIES: Per the current IDPA rulebook swinger (T2). Engage T1 with 3 rounds while retreating to P2 and engage T2 - CONCEALMENT: Yes T3 with 2 rounds each while retreating to cover or from cover at P2. 6 Garage Time Panic RULES: IDPA Rules COURSE DESIGNER: WaltProulx START POSITION: Standing at the workbench (barrel or table) with fingers of the weak hand on the radio knob and the strong hand holding the hammer byt the end of the handle with the face of the hammer touching the X. Empty gun is in the IDPA box with the lid closed. All loading devices resting on the bench. SCENARIO: You are in the garage working on a project at your work-bench when you hear sounds of a struggle through the side window on the other side of the room. As you turn down the radio to hear better you also hear sounds of distress through the partially open garage door. You drop the hammer you have been using and grab your gun to investigate. Your kids have been playing outside and you discover that your worst fears are correct. A group of thugs and their dogs are attacking them. Time to save the kids! PROCEDURE: At the signal retrieve your gun from the IDPA box, load and engage all targets in tactical priority with 2 rounds and steel until down. T1 - T3 are engaged at P2 through the window which is closed at the start. T4-T7 & S1 are engaged under the partially open garage door from P3. S1 activates the fall away non-threat which exposes T7. SCENARIO: SCORING: Unlimited You are in the alley off Main St. A mugger has pulled a knife. He has friends ROUND COUNT: 18 too. Make your way backwards out of the alley. TARGETS: 09 PROCEDURE: At the buzzer draw and engage targets while retreating from position to position. DISTANCE: 2, 10, 15 yards. T1 may be engaged while standing, retreating or from cover. All other targets SCORED HITS: 2 on all paper must be engaged from cover. T2 &T3 must be engaged from P1. T4 & T5 must PENALTIES: be engaged from P2. T6 & T7 will be engaged through the window at P3. SCENARIO: SCORING: Unlimited You are sitting at your regular spot at the flea market selling glass cats, dream ROUND COUNT: 16 catchers and pet rocks when all hell breaks loose around you! You must decide quickly whether to stay and fight from your chair or run to cover at the tipped TARGETS: 08 over tofurkey stand. DISTANCE: 5 to 30 yards PROCEDURE: SCORED HITS: 16 At the signal pick up the gun from the table, load and engage all targets with 2 PENALTIES: Per the current IDPA rulebook rounds minimum in tactical priority. Any shots taken while standing must be CONCEALMENT: No taken while advancing. Any shots taken at P2 must be taken using cover.
