3 These are the Factory Directions. Assembly time should be around 30 minutes per chair. The following pages will show further details and suggestions on how to assemble this chair. Tools needed: o 5mm allen key (for part 11). o 6mm allen key (for part 10). o 10mm open end wrench or 10mm socket wrench (for part 13) o 14mm open end wrench or 14mm socket wrench (for parts 8 & 9). o Allen keys should be included. 4 NOTE: T-Nuts are used as bolt anchors wherever wood is used in this particular chair the only exception is the armrests which bolt into threaded steel inserts. A T-Nut, is a type of nut used to fasten a wood, particle or composite materials work piece, leaving a flush surface. See page 5 for more information on how to attach the Footrest. It has a long, thin body and a flange at one end, resembling a T in profile. The flanges of T- nuts have prongs that dig into a wooden work piece as the bolt is tightened from the opposite side of the piece, providing better retention. T-Nuts. The left one has been inserted into the wood at the factory and shows a bolt screwed in from the other side. CAUTION: T-Nuts may push out of their wood setting as a bolt is threaded into them. Thread the bolt gently into the T-Nut threads. Keller International, LLC

WD-40 was used to lubricate each bolt before re-inserting that bolt into its respective bolt hole.

5 The bolts for assembling this chair is are ALL screwed inside their respective bolt holes for this chair. There is no hardware bag. For purposes of this procedure, a Socket wrench was used to remove all the hardware and then to re-install as the assembly process progressed. WD-40 was used to lubricate each bolt before re-inserting that bolt into its respective bolt hole. DO NOT PUSH the bolts back into their bolt holes: o This may unseat the T-Nut (see page 4) o Gently thread the bolt into the T-Nut in the bolt holes. o Do Not tighten any bolts until that part is completely attached. Make sure ALL 4 Footrest bolts are started into their 4 bolt holes before tightening. DO NOT cross thread any bolts while assembling this chair. The chair seat has a slightly curved bottom. The footrest is not curved to the same curvature. Remove the 4 Footrest bolts and lubricate them prior to re-insertion. It would be easiest to attach one side of the Footrest with 2 bolts and then the other side. o Gently insert a bolt until you feel the bolt touching the T-Nut. o Hand thread the first bolt into the T-Nut until almost finger tight, then the 2 nd bolt on the same side. NOTE: The Footrest can then be stretched or collapsed, as needed, to insert the other 2 bolts into the other side of the seat bottom. Once all 4 Footrest bolts are inserted and partially threaded, tighten securely (10mm wrench). Keller International, LLC

7 Attach the Footrest Bail to the G2 Pump as shown on the bottom of page 6. o Turn the G2 Pump Assembly upside down and insert the G2 Pump Shaft into the fixing plate on the bottom of the seat cushion make sure the G2 Pump Shaft Roll pin rides part way into the slot of the fixing plate (see picture above right). Remove the 6 6mm bolts from the bottom of the G2 Pump (5mm socket or allen key wrench). Keller International, LLC

8 Place the G2 Plate Upside Down on top of the G2 Pump attach the G2 Plate. Re-insert the 6 6mm allen head bolts through the G2 Plate into the G2 Pump tighten. Turn the chair upright to attach the armrests. Keller International, LLC

Remove the Armrest bolts lubricate the bolts before re-inserting them.

Tighten the 4 Armrest bolts. Re-install the snap on bolt hole covers (see left). Tighten the 4 bolts that were used to attach the Back Cushion to the Seat Cushion (see pg.10). Periodically, check ALL bolts under the Seat Cushion including the bolts that hold the Fixing Plate to the bottom of the Seat Cushion use a 14mm open end wrench or a 14mm socket wrench. Oil on the shaft is GOOD - proper pump functioning is dependent on the pump shaft being lubricated at ALL times (oil also lubricates the brake mechanism).

10 Hydraulic Pump and Chair Tips: All hydraulic pumps should be exercised at least 3 times per week. Pump them all the way up and then all the way down at least three times with as much weight in the chair as possible. Leave in the DOWN position over-night. Oil on the shaft is GOOD - proper pump functioning is dependent on the pump shaft being lubricated at ALL times (oil also lubricates the brake mechanism). Always check your chairs for stability - if loose or wobbly - DO NOT USE: NOTE: Barbers and Stylists sometimes move the chairs for sweeping. ALWAYS PULL UP ON THE PUMP BAIL BEFORE MOVING ANY CHAIRS THIS WILL LOCK THE PUMP. Do Not attempt to sit down or exit any Keller chair unless the chair is in its lowest position. This is the LOAD and UNLOAD position. Do Not Step on the Footrest when getting into or out of the chair as this may tip the chair forward. Do Not attempt to lean over in the chair and reach for anything that would create an imbalance. Use care when swinging the chair around so no one is struck by the Footrest.
