MAVERICK will not approve the return of any non-stock product(s). TO MAKE A RETURN: 1. Ask your MAVERICK customer service representative to issue a return goods authorization (RGA). The RGA must accompany any return. The RGA authorizes acceptance of the shipment and confirms items and quantities as well as specific terms. 2. To speed processing time please have the invoice number and date of the original purchase when requesting a return. 3. Sign the authorization and attach original to the outside of the shipment. 4. Only full unit quantities will be considered for returns. No broken unit quantities will be accepted. 5. No returns accepted after one year from date of purchase. 6. Ship Freight Pre-Paid unless otherwise instructed by Maverick Abrasives. Please note: All items must be in salable condition. A restocking charge of 15% will applied to all returns. MAVERICK reserves the right to deny any and all return authorizations. MAVERICK cannot accept returns on discontinued items. CANCELLATION POLICY: If a coated abrasive product has not been started into production, there will be no cancellation charge. If processing has begun there will be a cancellation charge proportional to the stage of completion. Cancellations of other items Maverick Policies will be handled on a case by case basis. WARRANTY: Maverick Abrasive warrants that all products are free of defects in workmanship and material. We guarantee that our products will fulfill our representations when given normal and proper usage. Claims that our products do not fulfill our representations must be made within 90 days after shipment and their use discontinued pending substantiation of claim. We reserve the right, at our option, to make necessary adjustments or take back the items involved and cancel the order for them without assuming further obligation. MANUFACTURING TOLERANCES: Maverick Abrasive reserves the right to take a manufacturing leeway of plus or minus 10% of the actual quantity ordered for an item. For wide belts the minimum manufacturing tolerance is plus or minus one belt. SAFETY WARNING: Coated Abrasives are dangerous if used improperly. Comply with all safety regulations set by the AMERICAN NATIONAL STANDARDS INSTITUTE (ANSI) B7.1, also by the OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH ACT (OSHA); covering eye, face, and body protection, wheel and disc speeds, safety guards, flanges, mounting and operating procedures. Paper varies from A-weight to F-weight though only E and F-weight paper are suitable for belts. Cloth comes in J-weight, X-weight, and Y-weight with Y-weight being the most durable and least flexible. Flexibility and durability have an inverse relationship resulting in the least flexible belts providing the greatest durability. Splices Butt splices are straight cuts joined together at underside of joint with high-strength tape. Typical splice and appropriate for most grinding applications. 20 Cartridge Rolls Cartridge Rolls Cartridge rolls are used for small hard-to-reach grinding locations. Straight cartridge rolls, full-taper, and halftaper rolls are all available methods of rolling the material into form. Materials available include Alumina Oxide, Zirconia, Silicon Carbide, and Ceramic. Maverick Abrasives manufactures cartridge rolls to the specifications and grits required by each customer. A sales representative can assist in any uncommon combinations of materials or grits to match the unique needs of each individual customer. An assembly consists of four abrasive cloth strips held together to fit in a Vonnegut sander. A 16 length is used on a 32 brush sander head. A 10 length is used on a 12 brush sander head. Assemblies are available either unscored or scored. Scored assemblies are available with 1/4 straight scoring or 1/4 or 1/8 staggered scoring.
