2 2 ABOUT Project Inkblot is a NYC based consultancy that develops strategy, process and people oriented solutions for Diversity and Inclusion. We work across industries to bring our Design for Diversity (D4D) methodology to help organizations build effective services, products and content that incorporate diverse perspectives from the onset, to authentically connect with target audiences.
3 D4D 3 Design for Diversity (D4D) is a framework that can be applied to creating any product, service or campaign, by helping to illuminate potential cultural blind spots and biases at every human touchpoint, guaranteeing an inclusive, authentic and effective outcome.

6 RENT THE RUNWAY, FOUNDATION 6 We provided strategy, advisement and program design to help Rent the Runway successfully roll-out three inaugural summits in NYC, Austin and DC for the launch of Project Entrepreneur, RTR s foundation connecting women business owners to funding and free educational programming nationwide. Design for Diversity results: Diverse & accomplished speaker roster NYC summit sold out in 24 hrs Over 600 attendees Feedback from attendees as the most diverse conference they ve ever attended We hired Project Inkblot for program design and speaker outreach for our three-city national launch. They brought in impressive speakers using their personal networks and selected diversely experienced entrepreneurs who provided immense value to our participants. - Beth Janson (Founding Director)
7 7 Project Inkblot developed a community engagement strategy and digital campaign for the launch of WE NYC, the first city government program that provides women of color, immigrant women, and low income women entrepreneurs with free business resources. WE NYC Design for Diversity results: 2000 online members in 2 months 3 video features of local women entrepreneurs Digital campaign featuring over 20 women representing diverse industries, communities and backgrounds Project Inkblot helped Women Entrepreneurs NYC (WE NYC) develop a voice. They helped generate interest such that over 2,000 women joined the group within two months...they also worked with directors/photographers to produce beautiful videos and photos for the WE NYC group. - Elyssa White (Deputy Director)
8 8 We built a strategic roadmap and curriculum for Tide Risers 12-month leadership program, designed for executive women as a unique cohort experience that addresses topics and challenges that are specific to women at work. TIDE RISERS Design for Diversity results: We developed a 12 month strategic plan informed by data collected around the major pain points of our target market Facilitated strategy and design sessions with founding team to map out unique program deliverables and curriculum With a winning formula, Tide Risers has expanded to 5 new cities within 1 year The work you provided helped us figure out Tide Risers in a way that couldn t have been done without you. I tested out so many things before you helped us discover the nucleus and unique differentiator of the Unstickher sessions, which ended up being the anchor of the entire program. - Lara Holliday (Founder of Tide Risers)
9 NEW YORK PUBLIC RADIO 9 NYPR content creators and support staff were facilitated through an experience of discovering the cost, benefit and impact of gendered and racial archetypes and tropes in the media, and their responsibility as media makers in shaping the cultural landscape. Design for Diversity results: 50 NYPR employees Cross department discussions Introduction to Design for Diversity framework NYPR sees need for more content creator focused trainings The spirit of the work Project Inkblot is doing in the Diversity & Inclusion space is incredible. Jahan and Boyuan are a great duo and super effective. Using a combination of current media clips, group discussion and interactive activities, we were able to go deep into workplace dynamics from a race and gender perspective. 10 FIT THE DESCRIPTION 10 Fit the Description (FTD) is a docu-series exploring the nuances of race and identity. The pilot centers around the interviews of Black male officers and civilians having honest conversations about their lived experiences with law enforcement. We designed/facilitated interactive workshops to engage audiences with tools to transform their conversations around race, identity and belonging. Design for Diversity results: Over 1,000 audience members at IRL events Toured interactive screenings along the Northeast 5 docu-shorts and photo series Data collection of over 400 participants Facilitators created a safe space that enabled meaningful, dynamic, and honest conversation about identity and difference. Diverse participants were able to bring their best selves to the discourse because of the inclusive, welcoming tone set.
