1 SPE WORKSHOP October 2015 The San Luis Resort Galveston, Texas, USA SPE Environmental Stewardship in Oil and Gas Development The United States oil and gas industry finds itself, once again, challenged by low commodity pricing brought on in part by the tremendous success the industry has had in exploiting unconventional reservoirs. During these times, it is important that operators continue to develop these resources in a socially responsible manner. This workshop is designed to exchange knowledge, learn the latest developments, and network with industry professionals. We ve permitted, designed, and installed more than 50,000 miles of pipelines, more than 600,000 horsepower of gas compression and liquid pressurization systems, and thousands of related projects across North America. We have also designed roads, rail spurs, rail and truck terminals, separation units, gathering lines, LACT units, water treatment and recycling centers, and a host of other infrastructure projects. We take on amazing challenges. And we ve got a passion for leaving the world a better place than we found it CH2M HILL WT DEN
