In this role, she leads the company s global efforts in electrically actuated production systems and high voltage power systems for subsea processing. A key responsibility is leading efforts to define and develop technologies and solutions that address market needs and support BHGE s role as a leading player in the fast emerging sector of Subsea Electrification. Gianluca De Molli Deepwater & Subsea Engineering Department Manager EniProgetti Following my Master s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, I began my career in Eni Exploration & Production Division in 2005 with the role of Offshore Pipeline Specialist. I started following the Pipeline Integrity Management (PIM) Project as technical Assistance and Coordinator whose object was to set-up an integrity management methodology for the Italian offshore pipeline portfolio. I took part of several ISO committee regarding offshore pipeline design and pipeline integrity management. In mid-2007 I entered in the subsea business as Subsea technology specialist taking part to several subsea projects in Egypt. For the West Ashrafi Project I participated as Company representative onboard an installation barge which was supporting the installation activities performed by saturated divers assisting the deployment of subsea equipment such as wellhead, Xmas trees and spools. I participated in the Execution Phase of the North Bardawil Project as coordinator of the Installation Contractor and I covered also the role of Company representative and technical supervisor on board the Installation Vessel. From 2009 to 2011 I had the role of SURF Coordinator for the Concept Selection phase of the Angola Block West Hub subsea development and later on I managed the FEED Competitions for the SPS, R&F, UMB and INSTALLATION packages, which were launched to all the main international Tenders. In 2012 I moved in Norway as Work Package Manager for the SPS Contract and I managed my team to follow up all the Project management, Procurement, Engineering and Manufacturing activities performed by the SPS Contractor during the Execution phase of the Angola Block West Hub Development Project. From 2014 to mid-2016 I moved to Angola with same role to follow up the in country execution activities, installation, commissioning, start-up and initial operation phases of the project. This was the first deepwater project for Eni (1500 m w.d.). Late 2016 I come back to Eni Headquarter as Senior Subsea System Engineer being advisor for all the key subsea worldwide projects. Then I covered the role of Manager of the Naval and Floating Engineering Department for almost 1 year being involved in supporting all the key start-up that we successfully performed in 2017 (East Hub, OCTP, Jangkrik). From April 2017 I am currently in charge of the Deewater and Subsea Engineering Department in Eni Progetti managing a team of about 30 engineers spread around the three key centers of S. Donato Milanese, Venice and Basingstoke and I am quite involved in all FEED engineering and Project execution relevant to eni Deepwater and Subsea Projects. Carlo Monteverde Subsea Controls System and Umbilical Specialist Saipem Carlo Monteverde graduated at Università Politecnica delle Marche in 2005 as Electronic Engineer, in 2009 he received the PhD title in Electromagnetics and Bioengineering at the same University, obtaining three paper publications in the IEEE Transactions scientific journals and spending part of his PhD course at NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology), Boulder, Colorado, USA. After a short experience in a EMC laboratory, now part of IMQ group, he joined Saipem in In Saipem Monteverde worked in several projects (EPIC, FEED, conceptual) relevant to the subsea field development, mainly focusing his attention on subsea control systems (Direct-hydraulic, Electro-Hydraulic and, recently, All electric), umbilicals and subsea power and fibre optic cables. In the recent years of his experience in Saipem, Monteverde was involved in the subsea processing projects, initially in conceptual and FEED phases and currently in the industrialization phase. In this context Monteverde is the technical interface, on Saipem side, of the Saipem Siemens Joint Development Agreement concerning the Open Framework subsea control system for the Saipem SUBSEA BUS architecture, based on the Siemens Subsea DigiGrid platform.

In this position Nuur was responsible for analyzing and optimizing ships mechanical and performing FMEA desk studies for dynamic positioned vessels. In 2011 he became a product developer in the Standard Modular Offshore Vessels department of IHC where was responsible for the preliminary design of the mechanical and electrical systems, DP compliancy, budgeting and production method optimization. Since then I had several positions from cost controller to Project Services Manager and then Tender Lead. More recently I worked as Deputy Project Manager on CLOV project in Angola, then Project Manager on East Nile Delta phase 3 project in Egypt, and since August 2016 I am Project Manager on ATOLL in Egypt. The company and more generally the industry has changed significantly during these last 20 years, and we are currently facing interesting challenges, that I am proud to contribute to! Tim Rhodes RST Development Manager Fugro Tim joined Fugro in 2006 and has managed the development of control systems for the ROV fleet and other subsea remote systems for the Fugro internal market since then. All the electronics hardware and software has been designed in house which makes Fugro able to supply innovative and custom engineering solutions to our clients. Tim is based in Aberdeen, Scotland but travels to Singapore on a regular basis to work with the team in the factory there. Luc Riviere R&D Deep Offshore Total Luc RIVIERE is graduated from the Paris Ecole Superieure d Electricite and from the Paris Ecole Nationale Superieure des Petroles et des Moteurs (French Petroleum Institute). He began his career in Field Operations in Total working within different subsidiaries especially Gabon, the Netherlands, and Congo. After 15 years in operation, he was nominated Petroleum Engineer for offshore Congo (Nkossa, Moho-Bilondo), then for the Block 17 in Angola and finally for the Pazflor project. He is currently working in the Deep Offshore R&D Group and is in charge of technology transfer between the R&D and the projects. Adam Rubin R&D Director, Material Technology NOV Flexible Adam Rubin graduated from the Danish Technical University with a master degree in Chemical Engineering; Materials Science in Right after he started at NOV Flexibles (NKT Flexibles at that time) where he has worked since. For the first part of his carrier, Adam lead establishment of an internal material test laboratory from scratch. The laboratory has competences in testing of steel, polymers and composite materials and is today state of the art in material qualification testing of materials for unbonded flexible pipes. Today Adam is leading the Material Technology area within NOV Flexibles, a department with more than 35 materials engineers and technicians. The department has all technical responsibility related to materials going from developing and qualification of new materials and suppliers to follow up on performance on deliveries in projects. In addition, Adam is part of the steering committee of advance materials within corporate NOV. The more than 17 years of experience in working with materials for flexible pipes has given Adam a broad knowledge of material technology aspects related to oil and gas, and particular unbonded flexible pipes. This knowledge includes performance of steels in sour and sweet environments, long term ageing behavior and testing of polymer materials as well as polymer matrix based composite materials testing and qualification.

He worked in subsea controls for Aker and GE before joining BP in In addition, David has presented undergraduate and postgraduate university courses in Engineering and Knowledge Management. He is a member of the engineering advisory panel for Brunel University and an elected council member of the Society for Underwater Technology. His first role in BP was to lead BP s autonomous underwater vehicle development programme before moving on to the Shah Deniz stage 2 project, where he managed the subsea technology qualification programme. David then moved to the newly formed BP Global Subsea Hardware team managing reliability and technology development. GSH acts as BP s single face to the subsea hardware suppliers for equipment design procurement, storage, maintenance, and onshore repair. Giorgio Sbriglia Senior Flexible Engineer Eni Giorgio is currently the Senior flexible engineer for Coral South FLNG Project and his main focus is currently on the finalization of the engineering and the follow up of a full scale test. He has been on the Project since the inception (started in 2014) working in different areas, from Flow Assurance, Systems, SPS, Umbilicals and process control before moving to flexibles. He Joined Eni in 2012 as intern focused on Multiphase Pumps and the worked until 2014 as Subsea Systems Engineer on several projects. Giorgio is a passionate engineer and his interests extend beyond the Oil & Gas, like Economics, Finance and Boxing. At the MCE, Giorgio will be presenting Leveraging API17 J for Effective Design of Flexible Lines: Pressure Definitions for High- Pressure and Deep Water Applications, essentially sharing his experience on how to take advantage of API 17J to purchase flexible lines optimized for high pressure-deep water applications. Nicolas Seguin Africa HSSEQ Director Subsea 7 With a Health, Safety and Environment Engineer educational background, I have developed and successfully implemented HSE Management systems on major offshore construction projects in Africa during more than ten years. Various field experiences enabled me to develop a strong operational approach of HSE in several multi-cultural working environments (onshore fabrication, marine operations, diving, rigid and flexible pipelay, heavy lift vessels, platforms / FPSO hook-up and commissioning) with the continuous vision of keeping HSE performance as a key success factor. David s current role is the Subsea Engineering Technical Authority for BP s global project organization. Here he works on issues relating to subsea technical integrity and conformance together with providing specialist advice in his practice areas. David is also the BP Advisor on subsea system reliability.
