2 The MACFINROBODS project was launched on 2-3 June 2014 in Amsterdam with a Kick-off Meeting organized by the coordinator UvA. All team leaders or their representatives and a small group of researchers involved in the project were present. The meeting was very successful covering presentations of all work packages, with special focus on objectives, tasks and deliverables and the responsibilities of the partners involved. The first Steering Committee meeting was incorporated in the meeting and covered a lot of ground with good results in terms of scheduling future meetings, defining tasks to be assigned to each partner as well as communication procedures among the partners. The first day of the event was concluded with a networking dinner. The detailed program of the kick off meeting follows below.
