2 Socio-Technical Assessment of Collaborative Consumption Research design and question Working definition: We understand collaborative consumption (CC) as any use of goods based on an alternative use model such as shared use, leasing, sale of benefit via rental and lending systems, swapping or second hand (leading to an intensified usage of the product or prolonging the use phase by e.g. selling or swapping). Question: Which CC offers do have a potential to save natural resources and how can we foster their diffusion (if necessary)?
