In short, I m an extremely self-motivated professional that grasps every chance to learn and expand my knowledge base. I m a natural leader and enjoy being the source of motivation for my team. I regularly enjoy site visits to customers being it doing technical work, planning a project, or simply for building and strengthening the relations we have. I ve done and been involved in a lot more than what my role entails including but not limited to project management, team leading and system architecture. I m currently on the outlook of progressing with ahead my career and believe I would be the right fit for this position. EXPERIENCE ENTERPRISE SYSTEM ENGINEER, VIZRT, STOCKHOLM MARCH PRESENT I have been with Vizrt as a consultant through two previous consultancy companies (Described below) and have now moved to becoming a company employee as I deeply enjoy the work I do on a daily basis. As a professional services System Engineer and being the broad and curious person I am, I m involved in many roles in the company: - Project Management Being in an enterprise team, we work with very complicated multi-phase projects with largest broadcasters such as the BBC, Sky, etc. Taking on such projects means a great deal of planning, work package identification, risk management etc. I m mostly involved in all stages of the project management process but mostly in estimation and timeline setup, risk identification and mitigation plans, splitting the project into phases and later into work packages and lastly in day to day team leading and mentoring. - System Architecture (pre-sales) When it comes to selling new projects, whether enterprise or the smaller ones, there is always a technical gap in the sales team as it is not their domain. It often happens that they sell products/services that are not technically feasible with the project lifespan or would require a new product roadmap. I m mostly involved in this phase to not allow such situations to happen. This of course requires understanding not just our products but customisability as well. To me, this is a vital part of my roll as it helps me stay up to date, understand competitor technology and in a way gain product management experience. - System Engineer This is the last part of my daily journey and the most technically challenging. It involves designing enterprise solutions that are not only scalable, but user-friendly and offer outstanding performance. When you have a system that is receiving all the feeds at sky news and you need this system to be online 100% of the time with all kinds of users, from engineers to editors to media managers, testing it s limits on a daily basis, suddenly every new component takes a new shape. It s one thing developing a new feature for a smaller system and it s a totally different scenario when it s a fully distributed system that is 100% online. I find this challenge very interesting and allows me to always be on my toes. I learn something new everyday, I work with the latest technologies and programming languages suddenly turn into tools. Every project has it s requirements and to meet these requirements I m always willing to learn new languages or technologies if that is what will fit the project the most. I m never in my comfort zone and always progressing ahead. SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER, BIDIRECTION, STOCKHOLM JANUARY MARCH 2018 In this position, i work as a senior software engineering consultant. My job entails delivering solutions to our customers on different levels. We deliver full stack developments and smaller features. We work with agile technologies, mainly scrum but also Kanban if it suits better. It s difficult to describe my job in detail as i work on many different levels. I work mainly with Python, C/C++, Javascript, HTML, CSS, Ruby, Perl etc. At this stage of my career, i ve come to see programming languages as a tool and not a specialty. This what i offer

2 to our customers, an all-round analytical thinking Software Engineer. I m good with many languages and specialize in Python and C/C++. It is worth noting that in this position, i m still at the same assignment as i had with my previous employer. This was only a change of consultancy company but i have been at the same assignment since October 2015 with Vizrt where i feel i still have a lot to learn and contribute. SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT CONSULTANT, HIQ, STOCKHOLM AUGUST DECEMBER 2016 At HiQ I worked as software engineering consultant. I started as an in-house consultant developing a CV database for use by the sales team. After a couple of months, i began as a systems engineer at Vizrt working in the broadcasting field. I mainly worked in two areas. The first is developing custom features specific for customers that need functionality not included in the standard software. This involves a lot of design work after receiving the requirements from the customer/software architect, actual implementation, testing, documentation, deployment and initial support. I worked mostly alone from A-Z but also worked in a team utilizing Kanban. I have recently been chosen to move into R&D due to my skills to do a larger feature they needed for more than one customer, utilizing Scrum. The second area is deployments, which includes but not limited to understanding every need the customer has, the system design and having high expertise in the systems/softwares to be deployed. I do some remote deployments which are mainly software and can be done remotely but also on-site whenever needed. In my time with HiQ, i ve worked with Python, RESTful API development, Perl, C++, HTML, Javascript (AngularJs) and Ruby. I ve also worked with both Scrum and Kanban. EMBEDDED SOFTWARE DEVELOPER, DFIND IT, STOCKHOLM 2/2/ /8/2015 I was a part of a cross-functional team that worked with developing and testing embedded systems. I worked with Ericsson s Radio Base Stations and more specifically with the radio units. The core development was mostly done in C++, and testing was scripted using Ruby, Python and Perl. My team had the responsibility of testing and verifying all that had to do with our designated radio unit. Half of the time in this assignment, i was also responsible for the design tests executed on our radio unit. This involved stability testing, overloading, fault handling and high temperature handling. All the testing was done in real-time, on real hardware. This was documented, categorised and delivered weekly for further analysis. My team worked using both Scrum as well as Kanban. During this assignment i worked with C++, Scrum, Perl, Ruby, Python, Awk, Design Test, Function Test, Radio Technology, LTE, GIT, continuous integration, Linux SOFTWARE DEVELOPER/DESIGNER, DFIND IT, GOTHENBURG 16/10/ /1/2015 In this position i worked on Ericsson s infamous EPG(Evolved Packet Gateway) product. As a team, we have been trusted enough to work on different system parts and develop features on all of them. I mainly worked with c/c++, as the code was written in both, and used both Rational Rhapsody and Eclipse as development environments. For testing i worked with ttcn, python and perl. We followed a continuous integration mind set, and worked with both ClearCase and GIT for version control. During this assignment i got to work on the following system parts of the Core Network of LTE: - SGW (Serving Gateway) - PGW (PDN Gateway) - O&M (Operation & Maintenance) Besides sitting in my team as the main developer, i was also a part of a virtual team which we created to gather the competence of system testing in one virtual team and help spread the competence across all the teams. During my last month, we had the responsibility for the continuous integration environment, which meant we were responsible for every piece of code being delivered and it was our responsibility to make sure everything was working 100% of the time. Besides doing that, i took the initiative to fix all the Coverity (a static code analysis tool) issues we had, and that was 142 potential memory leaks, and successfully managed to take that number to 0 during my last month and until this day i receive s thanking me for the initiative and work done as it was much easier to keep the errors at 0 now, and it feels really good to have made this positive impact on the system. IOS DEVELOPER, SELF-EMPLOYED, OSLO 10/ /2013 I have helped in creating many ios applications, in addition to some non-distributed apps, through my own company (EhmE Services). This has been a side project during my last years of studying in Oslo to get some experience and explore the ios world. Page 2

3 SUMMER INTERN, STATOIL ASA, TRONDHEIM 14/6/ /8/2011 During the summer of 2011, i ve been chosen by Statoil to participate in a research project in Trondheim at the research center. The project entailed designing a cloud based HPC queuing system to ease the load of the physical clusters available for seismic jobs.
