5 HIGH-TECH INSIDE The novelty of the QUS smart shirt lies in the textile sensors, which make it possible to measure the breathing and pulse rates for the first time and can also be washed. The combination of the respiration and pulse measurements open up endless combination possibilities and deductions, which can be used not only in sport but also in many applications. We are ONE STEP AHEAD not only with the revolutionary sensor technology, but also with the large number of evaluation possibilities. The following feasibilities were developed in the lab together with the project partner V-Trion: BREATHING: Concept: Multi-layer technology with a thickness that varies CAPACITIVE MEASUREMENT Capacitance measurement by stainless steel surfaces Insulating material: Spacer fabric, membrane, fluffy (sponge rubber), knitted fabric PULSE: Embroidered stainless steel electrodes are rendered washable by means of a special nano-plasma coating

6 EVALUATION SOFTWARE. FLEXIBLE AND VERY SCALABLE SOFTWARE WITH NEW DIAGNOSTIC POSSIBILITIES. Knowing that there is a wide range of evaluation software on the market (e.g. Runtastic, Garmin etc.) with the 1st generation we want to use a simple and flexible evaluation software with minimal initial costs. This has to transmit and display the recorded data at the end of the training session or monitoring period. Conversely the software has to transmit various specifications to the OBU (e.g. maximum heart rate, waypoint list routes). The 2nd generation will then focus on the integration of the market-leading evaluation tools. As described above, calculating the breathing rate offers new possibilities in terms of performance diagnostics and training management. With its open architecture, the open cloud solution makes it easy to connect to both one s own and third-party evaluation tools.

11 OUR STRATEGIC OPTIONS. The QUS team primarily sees itself as a leading technology provider and intends to present the smart shirt at the CES in Las Vegas in January QUO VADIS? We are currently preferably looking for a partner with a global distribution network to sell the smart shirt licensed under its own brand label. If we are not successful in finding a partner, we have already made all the preparations to sell the smart shirt ourselves under the QUS brand.
