28 About Presenter Norma Antunano is a technology professional, with over 20 years of experience. She has held engineering and business leadership roles. In the last 10 years, her jobs include project mentoring and large scale IT transformations leadership. Norma is certified faculty member of University of Phoenix where she facilitates courses for undergraduate and graduate students in the School of Business, and in the School of Humanities and Social Sciences. She also facilitates Software Quality Engineering ASQ certification course at Austin Community College. Norma has worked for Hewlett Packard, Broadcom, 3COM, Honeywell, Motorola, Baker Hughes and Medtronic holding engineering and leadership positions. She is IEEE Senior Member, active member of local IEEE Communications, Computer Society and Technology Management chapters, is also ASQ Fellow holding several ASQ professional certifications, and has been judge of the Future City Competition annual event. Her interest on IoT, Big Data and Analytics has driven her into research and standards development engagements. She cooperates with start ups and larger organizations on technology related innovations and initiatives.
