2 Sub-Disciplines Power Engineering: Expected to grow greatly because of: a) Green energy Technologies- Working on transforming the business of energy generation, transmission and distribution. b) Many people in power engineering are reaching the retirement age and are about to leave their job. c) Not enough power engineers are joining the power engineering force which means the demand is going to be less. Power engineering is the type of engineering that involves generation, transmission, distribution and utilization of electric power. It also deals with the electric devices such as generators, motors and transformers that are connected to the electric system. Salary for Power Engineers is around:

3 Sub-Disciplines Control Engineering: Growth of Control Engineering: a) Modern Day control engineering have gained a vast amount of attention in the twentieth century due to the advancement in technology. b) Control Engineers have a wide variety of control systems to choose, from uncomplicated washing machines to high performing fighter aircrafts. c) Control Engineers do have a growth in jobs as control engineering has gained significant attention. Taking control engineering courses can look good on the resume and make engineers find a better job. In Control Engineering, Engineers use control theory to construct systems with desired behaviours. Basically, Control engineering test the performance of the device being controlled and make corrections giving feedback for better performance. A device that does not need a control system is said to be in Automatic control.
