Drawing 030-Y-107 Section B: the 4-W4 line adjacent to the secondary clarifier references Key Note 5. Change reference to Key Note 6. BP 114 Bidder Questions/Responses(all responses italicized): 1. Per 11294B Gate G-30506 is listed as 72" x 60". Should this be 60" x 72"? The gate should be 60"x72". Revised in Addendum 11. 2. Per 11294B Gate EDR-31144 and EDR-31145 are 48" x 48" but gate travel is stated as 54". Should this be 48"? Per dwg 311-M-101 & 311-M-102 gate EDR-31144 is a 48"x48" gate with 48" travel. Gate EDR-31145 is a 54"x54" gate with 54" travel. Schedule revised in Addendum 11 for gate EDR-31144 3. The Valve and Gate Actuator Schedule in Section 13447 - Electric Motorized Actuators indicates that gates (EDR-31144, EDR-31145, EDR-33011,12,13 and G-33011,12,13) are part of bid alternate #2. What part or parts of these gates are bid alternate #2? Bid alternative #2 has been removed. Revised in Addendum 11. 4. Regarding the Double Containment Specification 15245; Spears Mfg Co would like to be included as an "equal" to the manufactures listed. I have included 3 attachments (see attachments) for review: #1. DC Tech Data Sheet, #2. DC Installation Guide, #3. CPVC Sch 80 Fittings Tech Data Sheet. Spears manufactures and fabricates in Jerome, Idaho and Caney, Kansas (as well as other US locations), and has 9 regional warehouses throughout the United States, including our Pacific Northwest Warehouse in Auburn, WA. In addition, Spears provides installer training at no charge for our specialty systems including Double Containment and ASME Bonder Training. Unless specifically stated otherwise, the technical documents for the Post Point project do not exclude any manufacturer that believes they meet the requirements listed in the specifications from bidding as an or equal. 5. Victaulic is requesting to be considered an "equal" for plug and check valves on the Post Point project. Section 01010-3, Paragraph 1.03 Key Personnel Do these requirements apply to the Mechanical Contractor, or GCCM. Key Personnel requirements in this section apply to the GCCM. 7. Drawing 306-M-102 Engineered Biofilter Media Require a specification on the Biofilter, and who is responsible for installation. Engineered Biofilter Media is specified in Section 13329 - Biofilter System. Per 00080-Summary of Work 2.03 1 this section is provided under BP 114. 8. Reference Responsibility Matrix, Item #11-12, SST Drop legs installed to within 2 of the manifold. Please provide details or where located in the RFQ. BP 114 will provide and install the stainless drop legs to the diffuser equipment. BP 114B will provide and install the diffuser PVC piping. For bidding purposes, assume the transition from stainless to PVC will occur 2' above the diffuser manifold piping. 10. The CPM Schedule provided in the Bidders Manual has an activity for the Existing 72" ML Line from ASB 2&3 to the Flow Splitter Box. This work is not identified in BP114 scope of work, is the investigation of the existing 72" ML line part of the BP114 subcontract package, or is this being completed under a different agreement? The investigation of the 72" ML pipe adjacent to Clarifier #4 will be performed by BP 101. 11. Sheet 214 (330-M-101) Ref Addendum #1: Sheet shows highlighted under-slab piping that will be removed from the BP-114 Scope, there is additional piping under the slab of SC#4 that has not been highlighted. The 4-W4 line that wraps around the SC #4 will also need to be installed prior to slab installation. Please clarify if this piping is still in BP-114 package or if it has been removed? The referenced 4-W4 piping will be installed by BP 114. This piping is installed under the sidewalk, but above the base slab. See B/030-Y-107 for approximate elevation. 12. Sheet 57 (030-Y-108) Partial Plan view show the ALP pipe between ASB #4 and ASB #2 & #3 as 20", in the Section E the same line is shown as 24". Please clarify as to the correct size call out for the ALP line. The 30" ALP line tees at the NE corner of ASB #4. From there a 24" line supplies ASB #2 and a 20" line supplies ASB #4. The referenced drawings are correct. 13. Are all control panels in the N drawings, associated with our equipment, identified as LCPs (local control panels) provided by others? Please clarify that BP-114 will only provide panels in the N drawings, associated with our equipment, identified as VCPs (vendor control panels). Confirmed, unless the control panel is specified with the equipment spec provided under BP 114. 14. We interpret our electrical scope to be only interconnect wiring between the HVAC control panel and HVAC field equipment as well as interconnect wiring between any of our equipment and vendor supplied control panels (VCPs). Anything outside of this is considered work by others. Please confirm. BP 114 shall provide control wiring for HVAC equipment from control panels to field equipment, as noted above. Interconnect field wiring between equipment and remote VCPs will be provided by BP 115, unless specified as manufacturer supplied cables. 15. All disconnect switches for field equipment will be covered by others. Please confirm. Confirmed, unless specified with the equipment provided under BP 114. 16. Please provide the electrical and control drawings associated with fans F-13091, F-13092, and F-13093 listed on the fan schedule in section 15830. Could not find any drawings associated with these fans in our package. Do not include fans F-13091, F-13092, and F-13093 in the BP 114 bid. These fans will not be provided under this contract. 17. Please provide contact information for the Electrical Subcontractor and the Systems Integrator. BP 115 will be performed by Seahurst Electric 425.258.1882. The System Integrator will be subcontracted under Seahurst Electric. 18. Please provide a copy of the Building Permit for the Project. Building permits are viewable at the Mortenson Project Office, 206 McKenzie Ave, Bellingham WA 98225 19. Note 3 on dwg 030-Y-105 shows a future 30" connection.
