Scentsational Season Boxed Cards & Tags Designed By: Kris McIntosh December 2012 One of my favorite projects to work on is a boxed set of cards and tags. I love the Scentsational Season stamp set with matching Framelits and thought it would be the perfect set to use. Christmas Tree Panel Instructions Create three panels to decorate the cards and tags in this set. Cut one of the large doilies on the Delicate Doilies die from a 3-1/2 x 3-1/2 piece of Early Espresso card stock. Punch Very Vanilla card stock using the 2-1/2 Circle punch. Attach the Very Vanilla 2-1/2 circle to the Early Espresso doily.

Stamp the tree from the Scentsational Season stamp set onto Very Vanilla card stock using Lucky Limeade ink. Cut the image using the matching Holiday Collection Framelits die. Use the star Framelits from the Holiday Collection dies to cut Silver Glimmer Paper. Attach the tree and the star to the Very Vanilla 2-1/2 circle. Candy Cane Panel Instructions Create four panels to decorate the cards, tags, and the lid of the box. Cut one of the large doilies on the Delicate Doilies die from a 3-1/2 x 3-1/2 piece of Early Espresso card stock. Punch Very Vanilla card stock using the 2-1/2 Circle punch. Attach the Very Vanilla 2-1/2 circle to the Early Espresso doily.

Stamp the candy cane from the Scentsational Season stamp set twice onto Very Vanilla card stock using Cherry Cobbler ink. Cut out using the matching Holiday Collection Framelits die. Attach the candy canes to the Very Vanilla 2-1/2 circle. Tie a bow using a piece of Early Espresso 1/8 taffeta ribbon and attach over the candy canes using a Glue Dot. Mug & Steam Panel Instructions Create three panels to decorate the cards and tags in this set. Cut the large doily on the Delicate Doilies die from a 3-1/2 x 3-1/2 piece of Cherry Cobbler card stock. Punch Very Vanilla card stock using the 2-1/2 Circle punch. Attach the Very Vanilla 2-1/2 circle to the Early Espresso doily. Stamp the mug image onto Very Vanilla card stock using Cherry Cobbler ink. Cut the image using the matching Holiday Collection Framelits die. Stamp the steam image onto Very Vanilla card stock using Early Espresso ink. Cut the image using the matching Holiday Collection Framelits die. Attach the steam behind the mug image and then to the Very Vanilla 2-1/2 circle. Attach a medium Rhinestone Basic Jewel in the center of the snowflake on the mug image.

Gingerbread Man Panel Instructions Create three panels to decorate the cards and tags in this set. Cut the large doily on the Delicate Doilies die from a 3-1/2 x 3-1/2 piece of Cherry Cobbler card stock. Punch Very Vanilla card stock using the 2-1/2 Circle punch. Attach the Very Vanilla 2-1/2 circle to the Early Espresso doily. Stamp the gingerbread man image onto Very Vanilla card stock using Early Espresso ink and cut using the matching Holiday Collection Framelits die. Add Cherry Cobbler Dazzling Details to the buttons (set this aside for a couple of minutes to dry). Add two tiny Basic Pearls to the eyes and color the squiggles on the arms and legs using the narrow end of a Cherry Cobbler Stampin Write Marker. Attach to the Very Vanilla 2-1/2 circle.

Cards 1 and 2 Instructions Cut two 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 pieces of Cherry Cobbler card stock. Score along the 8-1/2 length at 4-1/4 to create two card bases. Cut two 5-1/4 x 4 pieces of Very Vanilla card stock. Emboss the top two-thirds of the Very Vanilla card stock using the Lacy Brocade embossing folder. Stamp Merry Christmas from the More Merry Messages stamp set in the lower right hand corner using Early Espresso ink. Attach Very Vanilla card stock to the scored and folded Cherry Cobbler card base. Cut two 1-7/8 x 5-1/4 pieces of Festival of Prints Designer Series Paper (DSP). Cut two 2-3/8 x 5-1/4 pieces of Cherry Cobbler card stock. Use the Finishing Touches Edgelits to cut a decorative edge on one of the long sides of each piece.

Step 4 Attach the DSP pieces to the Cherry Cobbler card stock. Attach the DSP piece to the card front. Step 4 Step 5 Attach the Christmas tree Panel to the left hand side of one of the card bases using Stampin Dimensionals. Attach a candy cane panel to the left hand side of the remaining card base using Stampin Dimensionals. Cards 3 and 4 Instructions Step 5 Cut two 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 pieces of Early Espresso card stock. Score along the 8-1/2 length at 4-1/4 to create two card bases.

Cut two 5-1/4 x 4 pieces of Very Vanilla card stock. Emboss the top two-thirds of the Very Vanilla card stock using the Lacy Brocade embossing folder. Stamp Merry Christmas in the lower right hand corner using Cherry Cobbler ink. Attach the Very Vanilla card to the Early Espresso card base. Cut two 1-7/8 x 5-1/4 pieces of Festival of Prints DSP. Cut two 2-3/8 x 5-1/4 pieces of Early Espresso card stock. Use the Finishing Touches Edgelits to cut a decorative edge on one of the long sides of each piece. Attach the DSP pieces to the Early Espresso card stock. Attach the DSP piece to the card front. Step 4 Attach a mug and steam panel to the left hand side of one of the card bases using Stampin Dimensionals. Attach a gingerbread man panel to the left hand side of the remaining card base. Step 4

Square Gift Tags Instructions Create four tags, two using Early Espresso card stock and two using Cherry Cobbler card stock. Cut two 3-1/4 x 6-1/2 pieces of Cherry Cobbler card stock. Score along the 6-1/2 length at 3-1/4 to create two gift tags. Cut two 3 x 3 pieces of Very Vanilla card stock and emboss using the Lacy Brocade embossing folder. Attach one piece of Very Vanilla embossed card stock to each of the scored Cherry Cobbler tags. Attach one Christmas tree Panel to the front of one of the Cherry Cobbler tags using Stampin Dimensionals. Attach a candy cane panel to the front of the remaining Cherry Cobbler tag using Stampin Dimensionals. Cut two 3-1/4 x 6-1/2 pieces of Early Espresso card stock. Score along the 6-1/2 length at 3-1/4 to create two tags. Cut two 3 x 3 pieces of Very Vanilla card stock and emboss using the Lacy Brocade embossing folder. Attach one piece of Very Vanilla embossed card stock to each of the scored Early Espresso tags. Attach a mug and steam panel to one of the Early Espresso tags using Stampin Dimensionals. Attach a gingerbread man panel to the remaining Early Espresso tag using Stampin Dimensionals. Punch four 2-1/2 Circles from Very Vanilla card stock. Stamp each one with the To/From image, two using Cherry Cobbler ink and two using Early Espresso ink. Attach inside each tag making sure that the Cherry Cobbler tags have the pieces stamped in Early Espresso ink and that the Early Espresso tags have the pieces stamped in Cherry Cobbler ink. Punch a hole in the inside of each of the tags and thread with 9 of Early Espresso 1/8 taffeta ribbon and tie a knot.

Round Gift Tag Instructions Cut four 2-3/4 x 5-1/2 pieces of Very Vanilla card stock. Score each piece on the 5-1/2 length at 2-3/4. Insert the folded card into the 2-1/2 Circle punch and punch so that the two pieces are still attached. Stamp inside each piece using the To/From stamp, two in Cherry Cobbler ink and two in Early Espresso ink. Attach one of the circle cards stamped in Cherry Cobbler to the back of a Christmas tree panel. Attach the other circle card stamped in Cherry Cobbler to the back of a candy cane panel. Thread 9 of Early Espresso 1/8 taffeta ribbon through one of the holes in each of the doilies and tie a knot. Attach one of the circle cards stamped in Early Espresso ink to the back of a mug and steam panel.

Attach the other circle card stamped in Early Espresso to the back of a gingerbread man panel. Thread 9 of Early Espresso 1/8 taffeta ribbon through one of the holes in the doily and tie a knot. Envelope Instructions Stamp the corner of one envelope with the Christmas tree image using Lucky Limeade ink. Stamp the candy cane image once using Cherry Cobbler ink onto the lower left hand corner of an envelope.

Stamp the steam image using Early Espresso ink onto the lower left hand corner of an envelope. Stamp the mug image using Cherry Cobbler ink. Stamp the gingerbread man image onto the lower left hand corner of an envelope using Cherry Cobbler card. Box Instructions Cut an 11-3/4 x 9-1/4 piece of cardboard. Note: I used a sheet of the backing cardboard that comes with Stampin Up! DSP (this will make your box very sturdy). Score on the 11-3/4 length at 1-1/4 and 9-1/4. Score on the 9-1/4 length at 1-1/4 and 8. On each of the 9-1/4 lengths, cut on the score line up to the score line and remove a little wedge. Apply Sticky Strip to all four tabs. Fold cardboard on all score lines and use a Bone Folder to make creases nice and crisp. Remove red liner on the Sticky Strip and assemble an open box. Cut an 11-3/4 x 9-1/4 piece of Early Espresso card stock. Score as the cardboard in. On the 9-1/4 lengths cut up to the score line and remove the square on one end. Apply Sticky Strip to the tabs. Flip Early Espresso card stock over and apply Sticky Strip to the long tab.

Fold Early Espresso card stock on all score lines and use Bone Folder to make creases nice and crisp. Remove red liner and attach long tab to one of the long edges on the outside of the box created in. Remove red liner on the tabs and assemble corners to create a pizza style box. Step 4 Cut an 11-1/2 x 6 11/16 piece of Early Espresso card stock. Score along the 11-1/2 length at 4-3/4, 6 and 7-1/4. Fold all score lines, valley, mountain and valley and use Bone Folder to make creases nice and crisp. Apply Sticky Strip to the back of the first fold. Step 4

Step 5 Remove red liner and seal fold closed. Apply Sticky Strip to the back of the folded card stock. Remove red liner and glue down inside the box. Step 5 Step 6 Cut a 9-1/4 x 4-1/4 piece of Early Espresso card stock. Score along the 9-1/4 length at 3-3/8, 4-5/8 and 5-7/8. Fold all score lines, valley, mountain and valley and use a Bone Folder to make creases nice and crisp. Apply Sticky Strip to the back of the first fold. Remove red liner and seal fold closed Step 7 Apply Sticky Strip to the back. Remove red liner and attach into the base of the box. You should now have three compartments in your box. Cut an 8-1/2 x 6 piece of Cherry Cobbler card stock. Attach to the top of the box. Step 7 Step 8 Cut two 4-1/8 x 5-3/4 pieces of Very Vanilla card stock. Emboss using the Lacy Brocade embossing folder. Attach to the Cherry Cobbler card stock. Do not worry if there is a slight gap in the center. Cut two 1-3/4 x 5-3/4 pieces of Cherry Cobbler card stock. Cut one long edge of each piece using the Finishing Touches Edgelits.

Step 8 Step 9 Attach the Cherry Cobbler card to the back of DSP 4-1/2 x 5-3/4. Attach assembled DSP panel to the front of the box. Step 9 0 Attach candy cane panel to the center of the DSP using Stampin Dimensionals. 0 1 Cut two 6-1/2 x 1 pieces of Very Vanilla card stock. Cut two 9 x 1 pieces of Very Vanilla card stock. Emboss all four pieces using the Lacy Brocade embossing folder.

Note: To do this I cut my folder down so that I could put it through my Big Shot sideways. This allows you to emboss the full length of the 1 strips of Very Vanilla card by moving the strip through the folder and matching the pattern. 1 2 Cut two 6-5/8 x 1-1/8 pieces of Cherry Cobbler card stock. Attach the corresponding embossed Very Vanilla card. Cut two 9-1/8 x 1-1/8 pieces of Cherry Cobbler card stock. Attach the corresponding embossed Very Vanilla card stock. Attach these pieces to the corresponding sides of the lid of the box, including the fixed panel at the back. 2 3 Place your envelopes, cards and tags into the box your project is now complete. 3
