Christmas Jingle Simply Scrappin Album Designed By: Jacque Craig January 2010 Now that Christmas is over, you probably have a ton of great photos that you d like to scrapbook. If you haven t tried Stampin Up! s great Simply Scrappin kits, and you want an easy way to scrapbook, now is the time to try out the Christmas Jingle kit! Instructions Step 1. To make the album cover, choose two different designs of 12 x 12 Designer Series Paper (DSP) from your Christmas Jingle kit. One design will be used for the outside front and back covers, and the other design will be used for the inside front and back covers. You will use one full 12 x 12 sheet for the outside front cover, but cut the back cover outside sheet down to 11-1/2 x 12 to accommodate for the medal ring piece attached to the back of the On Board album. With the second design, cut the inside front cover sheet down to 9 x 10-1/2 and the inside back cover sheet to 9 x 9-¼.
Step 2. Take your 12 x 12 front cover sheet and with the design that you want showing, face down, position your album on top of the sheet. There will be approximately 1-1/4 around the top, bottom, and left sides. Using your Bone Folder, score around the album. Fold up on the score lines and using SNAIL Adhesive, attach the top and bottom flaps to your album. Note: I also put SNAIL Adhesive on the front cover of the album so that the DSP would adhere to the album front. Fold the corners in like you are wrapping a gift and adhere down. Step 3. Step 2 Step 2 Take your 11-1/2 x 12 back outside cover piece and lay the back cover of the album over the sheet. You will have approximately 1 on the top and bottom and 1-1/4 on the right hand side. Score with your Bone Folder, fold up and adhere with SNAIL Adhesive, remembering to use SNAIL Adhesive on the back outside cover as well. Using SNAIL Adhesive, attach the front and back inside pieces of DSP to the inside of the covers. Note: I like to use SNAIL Adhesive as it is easy, not messy, and more forgiving than Sticky Strip. If you find later that your cover is not adhering in some places to the chip board album, you can add Sticky Strip or a little Tombow Multi Purpose Adhesive.
Step 3 Step 3 Step 4. Take a 7 x 9-5/8 piece of Chocolate Chip Textured card stock, insert the long side into the Paper Cutter and score at 2-1/4 and 4-3/4. Using SNAIL adhesive attach to the outside spine of your album. See picture on page 1 for reference. Step 5. Take a 29 length of ribbon and using a square knot, tie around the front cover. Trim ribbon ends. Note: Mini Glue Dots are great for holding ribbon in place. Put one under the square knot and at various intervals as you d like. See picture on page 1 for reference. Step 6. Take a 5-1/2 x 5-1/2 piece of Chocolate Chip card stock and using the Scallop Circle die, run it through the Big Shot. Next take a 4-1/4 x 4-1/4 piece of Very Vanilla card stock and using the Clear Circle die, run it through the Big Shot. Using SNAIL Adhesive, layer the two pieces as shown in the picture on page 1. Your Christmas Jingle Simply Scrappin kit comes with six pages of self-adhesive die cuts. Take the dec 25 pieces and attach them to the Very Vanilla card stock circle. Use an Old Olive Stampin Write Marker and write the year underneath the 25. Using Stampin Dimensionals, attach to the bottom-right corner of your album. Step 7. From the 12 x 12 sheets of textured card stock (two Chocolate Chip, two Real Red, two Old Olive, and two Very Vanilla) that come in your Christmas Jingle kit, cut 8-1/2 x 8-1/2 pieces. You will have eight pieces. These will be the base of several of your pages. You will be making 20 pages total (to fill the page protectors
that come with the On Board album), so you will cut 8-1/2 x 8-1/2 pieces from the same colors of solid card stock. Note: The first and last pages will be double sided. Meaning you will be scrapbooking on each side of the card stock. The remaining pages are scrapbooked only on the top. Step 7 Page 1 Materials: (1) 8-1/2 x 8-1/2 piece of Real Red card stock, (1) 1-1/2 x 8- ½ strip of DSP, (1) 6 x 6 piece of Chocolate Chip card stock, Stampin Dimensionals. Instructions: Using SNAIL Adhesive, adhere the DSP strip to the left hand side of your page, approximately 1 from the edge. Using SNAIL adhesive, adhere the 6 x 6 piece of Chocolate Chip to the page. Using Stampin Dimensionals attach the bottom self-adhesive die cut as shown and then, again using Stampin Dimensionals, add the second die cut on top as shown in the picture.

Pages 2 and 3 Materials: (1) 8-1/2 x 8-1/2 piece of Real Red card stock (remember for your left page you will be using the back of page 1), (2) 3-1/2 x 5 pieces of Very Vanilla textured card stock, (4) 3-1/2 x 3-1/2 pieces of Old Olive textured card stock, (1) 1-3/4 x 3-5/8 piece of Old Olive card stock, Gold Elastic Cord, Stampin Dimensionals. Instructions: Using the 3/16 Corner punch, corner round the Very Vanilla and Old Olive card stock pieces. Using SNAIL Adhesive adhere the Very Vanilla and Old Olive pieces to the pages. Attach the self-adhesive die cut to the 1-3/4 x 3-5/8 piece of Old Olive card stock. Attach the two ornament die cut pieces to the page and add bows made from the Gold Elastic Cord using Mini Glue Dots. Step 9 Step 9
Step 9. Pages 4 and 5 Materials: (2) 8-1/2 x 8-1/2 pieces of Very Vanilla textured card stock, (2) 1-5/8 x 8-1/2 strips of Old Olive card stock, (2) 1 x 8-1/2 strips of DSP, (1) large Clear rhinestone Brad, Stampin Dimensionals. Instructions: Using SNAIL Adhesive, attach the strips of DSP to the strips of Old Olive card stock, and then attach to the Very Vanilla pages. Using a Paper-Piercing tool and mat, pierce a hole in the middle of the die cut, insert Clear rhinestone Brad, and using Stampin Dimensionals attach to left. Again, using Stampin Dimensionals, attach the die cut shown to the right page. Step 10 Step 10 Step 10. Pages 6 and 7 Materials: (2) 8-1/2 x 8-1/2 pieces of Old Olive card stock, (4) 3-1/2 x 3-1/2 pieces of Real Red textured card stock, (2) 3-1/2 x 3-1/2 pieces of Chocolate Chip textured card stock, (2) 3-1/2 x 3-1/2 pieces of Very Vanilla textured card stock, (4) Clear rhinestone brads, Stampin Dimensionals. Instructions: Using SNAIL Adhesive, adhere the 3-1/2 x 3-1/2 pieces to the pages as shown. Cut the tree die cut strip to two 3-1/2 pieces and adhere to Chocolate Chip squares as shown. Punch holes in the snowflake dies, insert Clear rhinestone brads and using Stampin Dimensionals attach to pages.

Pages 8 and 9 Materials: (2) 8-1/2 x 8-1/2 pieces of Chocolate Chip textured card stock, (2) ¾ x 8-1/2 strips of Real Red card stock, (2) 1-1/2 x 8-1/2 strips of DSP, (2) 1-5/8 x 1-5/8 pieces of Real Red card stock, Stampin Dimensionals. Instructions: Using SNAIL Adhesive, adhere the DSP strips to the Real Red strips and then adhere to the Chocolate Chip pages. Attach the die cuts to the Real Red squares, popping the center piece of the die up with a Stampin Dimensional. Attach the squares to the pages using Stampin Dimensionals. Step 12 Step 12
Step 12. Pages 10 and 11 Materials: (2) 8-1/2 x 8-1/2 pieces of Real Red textured card stock, (2) 1 x 8-1/2 strips of Old Olive card stock, (1) Clear rhinestone brad, Stampin Dimensionals. Instructions: Using SNAIL Adhesive, adhere the Old Olive strips to the Real Red pages. Attach the die cuts to the Old Olive card stock as shown in the pictures. Attach the Dasher deer to the left page and the chocolate chip and old olive elements to the right page (after inserting Clear rhinestone brad), using Stampin Dimensionals. Attach the two small dies directly to the pages. Step 13 Step 13 Step 13. Pages 12 and 13 Materials: (2) 8-1/2 x 8-1/2 pieces of Very Vanilla card stock, (2) 1 x 8-1/2 strips of Chocolate Chip card stock, (3) 3-1/2 x 3-1/2 pieces of Real Red textured card stock, (2) 3-1/2 x 3-1/2 pieces of Old Olive textured card stock, (2) 3-1/2 x 3-1/2 pieces of Chocolate Chip textured card stock, Gold Elastic Cord. Instructions: Using SNAIL Adhesive attach the DSP strips to the Chocolate Chip card stock strips. Attach strips to Very Vanilla pages. Again using SNAIL Adhesive, attach the 3-1/2 x 3-1/2 squares as shown. Adhere the holly die cuts to the right page and the ornament dies to the left. Attach little bows made from Gold Elastic cord using Mini Glue Dots.

Pages 14 and 15 Materials: (2) Chocolate Chip 8-1/2 x 8-1/2 pieces of card stock, (2) 1-1/2 x 8-1/2 strips of Old Olive card stock, (1) 1-5/8 x 3-5/8 piece of Real Red card stock, (1) 1-1/2 x 2-1/8 piece of Real Red card stock. Instructions: Adhere the red holly die cut strips to the 1-1/2 x 8-1/2 strips of Old Olive card stock. Using SNAIL Adhesive, adhere strips to the Chocolate Chip pages as shown. Adhere the Christmas Blessing dies cut to the 1-5/8 x 3-5/8 piece of Real Red card stock, and using Stampin Dimensionals, attach to the left page. Attach the ornaments die cut to the 1-1/2 x 2-1/8 piece of Real Red card stock, and using Stampin Dimensionals, attach to the right page. Note: The ornaments die cut on the right page is cut from the May your season be merry & bright die cut.
Step 15 Step 15 Step 15. Pages 16 and 17 Materials: (2) 8-1/2 x 8-1/2 pieces of Old Olive textured card stock, (2) 1-1/4 x 8-1/2 strips of Real Red card stock, (1) Clear rhinestone brad, Stampin Dimensionals. Instructions: Using SNAIL Adhesive, adhere the 1-1/4 x 8-1/2 strips of Real Red card stock to the Old Olive pages as shown. Attach the red scallop border die cuts to the top edge of the Real Red card stock strips. Using Stampin Dimensionals, attach the May your season be merry & bright and small red holly die cuts to the left page. Attach the Old Olive scallop circle die cut directly to the right page. Using the Paper-Piercing Tool and mat, pierce a hole through the red snowflake die cut, insert a Clear rhinestone brad, and using a Stampin Dimensional attach on top of Old Olive scallop circle die cut.

Pages 18 and 19 Materials: (2) 8-1/2 x 8-1/2 pieces of Real Red card stock, (2) ¾ x 8-1/2 strips of Chocolate Chip textured card stock, (4) 3-1/2 x 3-1/2 pieces of Old Olive card stock, (2) 3-1/2 x 5 pieces of Chocolate Chip textured card stock, (3) Clear rhinestone brads, Stampin Dimensionals. Instructions: Using SNAIL Adhesive, attach the polka dot die cut strips to the ¾ x 8-1/2 strips of Chocolate Chip textured card stock. Using SNAIL Adhesive adhere to the Real Red pages as shown. Using SNAIL Adhesive, attach the 3-1/2 x 3-1/2 pieces of Old Olive card stock and the 3-1/2 x 5 pieces of Chocolate Chip textured card stock to the pages as shown. Using Stampin Dimensionals attach the merry Christmas to you die cut to the left page. Using the Paper-Piercing Tool and mat, pierce holes in the snowflake die cuts, insert Clear rhinestone brads, and using Stampin Dimensionals, attach to right page as shown.
Step 17 Step 17. Page 20 Materials: (1) 1-1/2 x 8-1/2 strip of DSP, (1) 6 x 6 piece of Chocolate Chip card stock, (1) Clear rhinestone brad, Old Olive scrap cardstock, Stampin Dimensionals. Instructions: Using SNAIL Adhesive, attach the 1-1/2 x 8-1/2 strip of DSP to the Real Red page. Using the 3/16 Corner punch, punch the corners of the 6 x 6 piece of Chocolate Chip card stock and again using SNAIL Adhesive adhere to the page as shown. Using the Modern Label punch, punch a label from Old Olive card stock. Attach the Merry Christmas die cut and using Stampin Dimensionals adhere to Real Red page. Using Stampin Dimensionals attach the big round Real Red die cut shown to the upper right corner of the page. Using the Paper-Piercing Tool and mat, pierce a hole in the large Old Olive snowflake die cut, insert a Clear rhinestone brad, and using Stampin Dimensionals, attach to the Real Red die cut as shown.
