Instructions Cutting Instructions Cut the Designer Series Paper (DSP) following the instructions below. Each package of Designer Series Paper includes: 12 sheets of 12 x 12 double-sided patterned paper (2 each of 6 double-sided designs) For these projects, 1/8 of a package of Designer Series paper is enough to complete the set. Designer Series Paper (DSP): Any patterns will work for test projects. Measure Here Only 1 Time Score Here Guide for Last 3 Score Lines The Envelope Punch Board is as easy as 1-2-3: 1. Measure first score line on the ruler using the score line measurement listed on the measurements table. 2. Score the first line along the single scoring groove and punch notch from the side. 3. Rotate paper 1 turn (90 degrees) to the left. Line up scored line along guide. Score and punch. Repeat for the remaining two sides. Here it is in action. 1. Measure 2. Score 3. Punch Next: 1. Gather supplies listed. Score 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Melon Mambo cardstock at 4-1/4 along the 8-1/2 side. 2. Stamp greeting on scrap Melon Mambo cardstock with Basic Black ink. Punch out greeting with Word Window Punch so greeting is aligned to the right and there is blank space to the left. 3. Punch 1 x 3-5/8 Melon Mambo cardstock with the Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border Punch. Center the strip on the punch to create even punched strip. 4. Emboss Basic Black layer with the Big Shot and Modern Mosaic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. 5. Adhere Designer Series Paper to bottom of embossed layer with 1/16 around sides and bottom. Adhere punched ribbon halfway behind 1-1/8 x 3-5/8 strip. Adhere layers overlapping top of patterned paper a bit and with punched edge at the top. 6. Use the Envelope Punch Board to create a paper bow. Place 1 x 4 strip of Designer Series Paper on Envelope Punch Board with left edge lined up at 2. Punch out a notch. Flip the strip over and punch again at 2. Artwork Stampin Up! 5

7. Center one end of the 1 x 4 Designer Series Paper strip in the notch punch. Punch and then repeat with the other end of the strip. 8. Place 1 x 5 strip of Designer Series Paper on Envelope Punch Board with left edge lined up at 2-1/2. Punch out a notch. Flip the strip over and punch again at 2-1/2. 9. Line up left edge of strip at 5. Punch out a notch. Flip paper over and repeat. 10. Rotate paper 180 degrees so the other end of the strip is at the notch punch. Line up at 5 and repeat punching both sides. 11. Place a Glue Dot at the tips of each end of the punched strip. Place a Stampin Dimensional just on either side of the narrow section at the center of the strip. Fold over each end of the strip almost to the center and adhere. 12. Adhere folded bow on top of punched strip with a Glue Dot. Add a Glue Dot on the back at the narrow center area. Adhere one end of 1/4 x 1 Melon Mambo cardstock behind vertically. Wrap over front of bow and adhere to the back with another Glue Dot. 13. Adhere bow over Melon Mambo strip with a Glue Dot in the center and a stampin Dimensional under either edge. Adhere layers to card front with Stampin Dimensionals. 14. Pierce left edge of Word Window punched greeting with Paper- Piercing Tool. Add a Mini Brad. Cut a Stampin Dimensional in half (or use border section of Stampin Dimensional sheet). Place behind greeting and adhere to bottom left of card front. 15. This sweet and sassy card is great for birthdays, Mother s Day, or a note any day. Artwork Stampin Up! 6

Card 2 Instructions (Shirt & Tie Card) Stamps: Teeny Tiny Wishes Ink: Cherry Cobbler & Jet Black StazOn or Basic Black Very Vanilla Cardstock 1 4-1/4 x 11 Card 2 1 1 x 1 Card 2 Cherry Cobbler Cardstock 1 1 x 4-1/4 Card 2 Modern Medley Designer Series Paper Pattern 1b: 1 4-1/4 x 4-3/4 Card 2 Other 1/8 Mini Brads (2) Cherry Cobbler 1/2" Seam Binding Ribbon (2 ) Paper-Piercing Tool & Stampin Pierce Mat Big Shot Chevron Textured Impressions Embossing Folder Envelope Punch Board Stamping Sponge Adhesives: SNAIL (10 ), Stampin Dimensionals (4), Glue Dots (2) & Sticky Strip (2 ) 1. Gather supplies listed. Score 4-1/4 x 11 Very Vanilla cardstock at 5-1/2 along the 11 side. 2. Place folded card on Stampin Trimmer with the folded edge at 3/4". Cut in 1 from top edge to the 3-1/4 mark. 3. Cut in 1 from bottom edge from to the 1 mark. Pierce outside corners 4. Open card. Cut a diagonal from the edge of the card just above the score line to the end of the 1 cut to remove a triangular section. NOTE: Red dashed line represents the scored line. 5. Adhere Designer Series Paper to card front (the side with the triangular sections cut out) and lined up with the bottom edge and leaving the 3/4 section at the top showing. 6. Fold card closed. Place card front with Designer Series Paper facing up. Pierce both bottom outside corners of the 3/4" Very Vanilla section. This is actually the card back. Add a Mini Brad to each hole with the top of the brad facing down and the brad prongs showing at the card front. Artwork Stampin Up! 7

7. Use the Envelope Punch Board to create a man s tie. Place 1 x 4-1/4 cardstock strip on Envelope Punch Board with left edge lined up at 4-3/8. Punch out a notch. Flip the strip over and punch again at 4-3/8. 8. Rotate cardstock strip 180 degrees. Line up left edge at 3-1/2. Punch out a notch. Flip strip over and punch again at 3-1/2. 9. Use the Envelope Punch Board to create a pocket for the shirt card. Place 1 x 1 cardstock piece on Envelope Punch Board with left edge lined up at 1-1/8. Punch out a notch. Flip the strip over and punch again at 1-1/8. 10. Stamp Father s Day or birthday greeting towards bottom right edge of tie with Basic Black ink. NOTE: Use the Stamp-a-ma-jig to help stamp the greeting straight. 11. Place the tie crossways in the Chevron Textured Impressions Embossing Folder and emboss with the Big Shot. 12. Sponge edges of tie with Cherry Cobbler ink and a Stamping Sponge. Adhere centered at top of Designer Series Paper portion of the card front with Stampin Dimensionals. Add Sticky Strip Fold tip to center 13. Fold a 2 piece of Cherry Cobbler Seam Binding ribbon in half with ends crossing each other to create a triangular tip. Adhere together with a Glue Dot. Use a Glue Dot to adhere ribbon behind punched pocket with triangle portion sticking up like a kerchief. Trim off excess ribbon. Adhere pocket to card front with a Stampin Dimensional 14. Add Sticky Strip to the outside and bottom cut edge of both sides of the Very Vanilla collar section and covering the brad backs. Fold collar edges in towards the center and angled down so the top corner of the collar meets the top center of the tie. Adhere with the Sticky Strip. Press the folds to flatten the sides of the collar portion of the card. 15. Open card and fold the card back backwards at the base of the collar to create a new score line for opening the card. Gift Card File Folder Instructions Stamps: Teeny Tiny Wishes Ink: Cherry Cobbler Very Vanilla Cardstock 1 1/2" x 11 Gift Card Scrap for punching (about 1 x 3 ) Gift Card Basic Black Cardstock 1 3/4" x 11 Gift Card Cherry Cobbler Cardstock 1 3-3/4 x 5-7/8 Gift Card 1 1 x 11 Gift Card Scrap for punching (about 1 x 3 ) Gift Card Modern Medley Designer Series Paper Pattern 3a/b: 1 4 x 5-7/8 Gift Card Other 1/8 Mini Brads (2) Linen Thread (8 ) Hardware Clips Essentials (1) Paper-Piercing Tool & Stampin Pierce Mat Big Shot Chevron Textured Impressions Embossing Folder Envelope Punch Board Adhesives: SNAIL (20 ), Stampin Dimensionals (2), & Sticky Strip (2 ) 1. Gather supplies listed. 2. Score 4 x 5-7/8 piece of Designer Series Paper at 3-1/4 along the 5-7/8 side using the Simply Scored Scoring Tool or the scoring blade on the Stampin Trimmer. 3. Score 3-3/4 x 5-7/8 piece of Cherry Cobbler cardstock at 3-1/8 along the 5-7/8 side. 4. Emboss scored Cherry Cobbler cardstock with the Big Shot and the Chevron Texture Impressions Embossing Folder. 5. Fold 1/2" x 11 Very Vanilla cardstock strip in half. Place strip crossways in the Chevron Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. Make sure the fold is in the folder. The ends will stick out. 6. Layer and adhere 1/2 wide Very Vanilla, 3/4" wide Basic Black, and 1 wide Cherry Cobbler cardstock strips using SNAIL. Artwork Stampin Up! 9

7. Create file folder tabs with the Envelope Punch Board. Place one 3-3/4 edge of scored and embossed Cherry Cobbler cardstock at top of Envelope Punch Board with the left edge at 3. Punch a notch. Flip cardstock over and punch again at 3. 8. Rotate cardstock 180 degrees and repeat punching at 3 on each side. 9. Place one 4 edge of scored Designer Series Paper at top of Envelope Punch Board with the left edge at 4-1/8. Punch a notch off the very edge. 10. Slide the paper to the right so the left edge is at 2 and punch a notch. Rotate paper 180 degrees and repeat punching at 4-1/8 and 2. 11. Place paper on Stampin Trimmer with the valley of the notch right at groove of the cutting mat. With the guide open move the blade even with the valley. 12. Close the cutting guide and cut from the valley of the notch to the square edge without the notch. 13. Rotate paper 180 degrees and repeat to cut the other end. NOTE: the file tabs will be on opposite sides from each other. 14. Place Cherry Cobbler cardstock on Stampin Trimmer with the valley of the notches right at groove of the cutting mat. Cut from each notch out towards the edge. Rotate the cardstock 180 degrees and repeat. 15. Use the corner rounder punch built into the opposite side of the notch punch to round the two square corners of the Designer Series Paper. The corners are opposite from each other. Artwork Stampin Up! 10

16. Round the four square corners of the Cherry Cobbler cardstock. You will need to bend the tab portion of the cardstock up a bit to get the corners to fit evenly into the corner rounder. 17. Stamp greeting on Very Vanilla scrap with Cherry Cobbler ink. Punch out greeting with Word Window Punch so greeting is at one edge of the punch out. Punch Cherry Cobbler scrap with the Word Window Punch. 18. Add a dab of SNAIL to remaining scrap cardstock. Adhere blank end of the punched greeting to the scrap to create a handle. Line up greeting in Word Window Punch and punch off excess creating a shorter shape. 19. Fold Cherry Cobbler file folder along scored line so the shorter half of the folder at the front. Adhere punched greeting centered on tab of the taller half. 20. Fold Designer Series Paper file folder with Houndstooth pattern on the outside. Fold layered 11 strip in half at the fold in Very Vanilla layer. Place shorter half of folder face down over strip. Line up right edge with fold at center of strip. Fold short section over left edge of the folder. Add Sticky Strip. 21. Remove Sticky Strip Backing and fold longer right half of strip over back of file folder and adhere over top of short section with Sticky Strip. Trim off excess length even with the edge of the folder using Paper Snips. 22. Pierce holes centered at each end of punched Cherry Cobbler Word Window. Add Mini Brads. Adhere punched Word Window piece vertically over bellyband about 1 from left edge using attached Stampin Dimensionals. Wrap 8 piece of Linen Thread around left edge of Hardware Clip about 6-8 times and knot. Slip clip onto center of punch. 24. Gather supplies listed. Use Treat Box Template in Templates section below to guide scoring and cutting. 2. Create a treat box with the Envelope Punch Board. Place 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper at top of Envelope Punch Board with the left edge at 1-1/2. Punch a notch and score. 3. Slide paper to the left to 3-1/2. Punch a notch and score. Rotate paper 180 degrees and repeat punching and scoring at 1-1/2 and 3-1/2. 4. Rotate paper 90 degrees. Line up left edge at 2-1/2. Punch a notch and score. 5. Slide paper to the left to 4-1/2. Punch a notch and score. Rotate paper 180 degrees and repeat punching and scoring at 2-1/2 and 4-1/2. 6. 7. Following the Treat Box Template cut score lines on each side of the wider triangular sections from the edge to the first score line as shown. 8. Punch a hole in the corner of the two wider triangular section using small circle punch from the Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack. TIP: Punch a piece of scrap with circle punch. Add a dab of SNAIL to circle. Place on tab where you want the hole as a guide. 9. Place inside of box face up. Add SNAIL on two smallest flaps. Fold flaps up and adhere. 10. Flip paper over so outside pattern is face up. Add SNAIL to all four small corner flaps. 11. Flip paper over and fold flaps in and adhere behind larger flaps. 12. Stamp greeting towards right edge of Bermuda Bay strip with Basic Black ink. Cut a banner end at right edge. Adhere to Basic Black strip. Banner cut end to match. 13. Pierce left edge of Word Window punched greeting with Paper- Piercing Tool. Add a Mini Brad. Adhere to left edge of treat box with Stampin Dimensionals. Trim off excess from left edge of greeting layers even with the edge of the box. 14. Add candy, small gifts, or other treats to the box. NOTE: This box fits 3 Hershey s Nuggets chocolates that measure 1-1/4 x 1 x 1/2" across the bottom and they can be stacked 2 high. They are sold in bags at big box and grocery stores. 15. Thread 14 piece of Bermuda Bay 1/8 Taffeta Ribbon through the punched holes and tie a bow. You now have a treat you ll love sharing. Score 4-1/2 x 6 Designer Series Paper at 1, 2, 3 & 4 along the 4-1/2 side using the Simply Scored Scoring Tool or scoring blade and Stampin Trimmer. Fold along score lines. 3. Place the 6 edge of scored paper with the 1 scored section at top of Envelope Punch Board. Line up left edge at 1. Punch a notch. Do not score this project. 4. Flip paper over and punch again at 1. 5. Fold paper on first 1 score line. Place the folded 6 edge at the top of the Envelope Punch Board lined up with the left edge at 1. Punch a notch. Flip paper over and punch again at 1. 6. Unfold paper and fold on the second 1 score line. Repeat punching until each 1 scored section has been punched at 1 from each edge. Artwork Stampin Up! 14

7. On the last fold only punch at the fold, do not open and punch the edge of the 1/2" section. 8. Completed punching shown on colored background for contrast. 9. Place the pattern you want on the outside of the popper face up. Add SNAIL along the 1/2" scored section, including the bits at each end. 10. Fold 1/2" section with the sticky side face out. Line up carefully with the other 6 edge and adhere. 11. Gently squeeze the narrow neck portion of the box created by the punches to get it ready to tie closed. 12. Knot an 8 piece of Cherry Cobber Seam Binding Ribbon around one punched neck end of the box. Fill the popper box with candy, small toys or gifts. 13. Tie the other end closed with another 8 piece of Seam Binding Ribbon. Trim ribbon ends. 14. Stamp greeting on scrap Very Vanilla with Basic Black ink. Center and punch out with Word Window Punch. 15. Adhere punched greeting centered on Cherry Cobbler cardstock strip. Banner cut both ends of Cherry Cobbler layer. Pierce both ends of Word Window punch with the Paper- Piercing Tool. Add a Mini Brad to each end. Adhere greeting centered on one side of the popper box with Stampin Dimensionals. Artwork Stampin Up! 15
