Holiday Helper 2017 Mini Pizza Box Album Part of the warmth of Christmas comes wrapped up in special memories. What are some of your treasured holiday moments? Many times we try to capture those memories with photographs. And in a time where most of our photos are trapped in our phones and memories pop up in our Facebook feed, sometimes it s nice to enjoy pictures offline. This little pizza box makes an adorable container for a mini photo album. Fill it with your pictures and write down special stories and memories. You could make these as gifts or make several for yourself and fill one each year. So have some fun making these mini albums and pull up a chair with some hot cocoa and soak up the warmth of the holidays.
Holiday Helper 2017 : Mini Pizza Box Album STEP1: Assemble the Pizza Box by folding on the score lines and tucking the flaps into a box shape. 1 Stamp greeting on a Whisper White cardstock scrap with Cherry Cobbler and Old Olive ink. Punch out the greeting with the Everyday Label Punch. Die cut circles using Layering Circle Framelits: (2) 1-3/4 Whisper White circles and (4) 2 Cherry Cobbler scalloped circles. Die cut (2) holly leaves and berries from cardstock scraps using the Christmas Stockings Thinlits Dies. Die cut two deer and a tree from the Card Front Builder Thinlits. 2 STEP2: Adhere the 3 x 3 black/white patterned designer series paper to the 3-1/4 x 3-1/4 Cherry Cobbler cardstock. Attach foil snowflake on top and attach all layers to the top of the box using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Apply a 2 strip of Tear & Tape starting at 4-1/2 from the left end of the 19 piece of Silver 3/8 Metallic Edge Ribbon. Adhere to the center of the Foil Snowflake. 3 STEP3: Adhere stamped greeting layer to 2 scalloped Cherry Cobbler cardstock circle. Adhere both layers on top of the ribbon using Stampin Dimensionals. Finish the sides of the box by layering and then adhering the 3-1/8 x 3/4 designer series paper to 3-1/4 x 7/8 Cherry Cobbler cardstock strips. 2
Mini Pizza Box Album : Holiday Helper 2017 STEP4: Cut 4 Whisper White cardstock pieces to 2-7/8 x 3, score at 2-3/4 on the 3 side. Use 4 the Envelope Punch Board to round 2 corners opposite the score line. Burnish score lines using a Bone Folder. Cut 4 pieces of the black stars designer series paper to 2-3/4 x 2-3/4. STEP5: Create a mini album by adhering all 4 Whisper White pieces together on on top of the other by using either liquid glue or Tear & Tape on the folded, scored edges. Adhere black star designer series paper to the Whisper White 5 cardstock, matching rounded corners. STEP6: Score a piece of 11 x 3-1/4 Cherry Cobbler cardstock at 3-1/4, 3-3/4, 7-1/8, and 7-5/8. Burnish folds with a Bone Folder and fold inwards to have a gate-style fold. Cut (3) 3-1/8 x 3 pieces of green plaid and (3) 3-1/8 x 3 pieces of black plaid designer series paper. Adhere green plaid pieces to the scored inside panels of the 6 Cherry Cobbler cardstock and the black plaid pieces to the outside. On the Cherry Cobbler inside center panel, adhere the mini-album from the previous step using Tear & Tape on the 1/4 flap only in the center. 3
Mini Pizza Box Album : Holiday Helper 2017 STEP7: Working on the inside left panel, create a pocket with a piece of 3-5/8 x 1-1/2 Cherry 7 Cobbler cardstock. Score it at 1/4 on one long side and twice on short sides. Apply Tear & Tape to the scored ends, cut diagonal on the corners. Layer a 3 x 1-1/4 piece of green dot designer series paper on top STEP8: Create a note card by scoring a piece of 5 x 2-3/4 Whisper White cardstock in half 8 (2-1/2 ). Round corners of green dot designer series paper (2-5/8 x 2-3/4 ) and the Whisper White notecard. Adhere designer series paper to the front and the inside. Layer with a 2 Cherry Cobbler scallop circle and a 1-3/4 Whisper White circle on the front of the notecard. Adhere holly leaves and berries with Stampin Dimensionals as shown. 9 STEP9: Adhere pocket to the bottom of the left inside panel on the green plaid designer series paper. Tuck note card inside the pocket, and finish with a die-cut Basic Black deer on the right corner. 4
Holiday Helper 2017 : Mini Pizza Box Album STEP10: On the inside right panel, create an accordion fold using a piece of 11 x 2-7/8 Cherry 10 7 Cobbler cardstock scored at 2-3/4, 5-1/2, 8-1/4. Adhere (3) 2-5/8 x 2-3/4 Whisper White pieces and (4) 2-5/8 x 2-3/4 green dot designer series paper pieces to the panels, alternating patterns. Both sides are shown in this picture, you ll only have one accordion fold. STEP11: If you want to include ribbon around the fold-out, attach 16 of Silver 3/8 Metallic Edge 11 Ribbon to the center of the inside right panel centered on the green plaid layer. Adhere the accordion fold-out over the ribbon using Tear & Tape or liquid glue. STEP12: Tie ribbon around the fold-out to hold it in place. 12 5
Mini Pizza Box Album : Holiday Helper 2017 STEP13: The inside is complete. Use the panels 13 for adding photos, quotes, or hot cocoa recipes. STEP14: Finish the outside of the mini album by layering the Foil Snowflake and a 2 Cherry 14 Cobbler scalloped circle over the left outside panel (shown furthest right on this photo). Add 2 of Tear & Tape starting at 4-1/2 of a 15 ribbon. Layer stamped and punched greeting using Stampin Dimensionals as shown. STEP15: Place the mini album inside of the decorated pizza box and tie ribbon for a beautiful 15 presentation. 6
