Glitter horses scissors cardboard colourful glitter glue cutting mat 1. P rint the pattern below onto the cardboard. Cut it out if you need a hand, your parents surely won t mind helping. 3. S prinkle the glitter onto the horse you can repeat this step. Work on a cutting mat to reuse the glitter falling aside. 2. S pread the glue onto one side of the cut out horse distribute carefully to make sure the glitter stays on. 1. 3. 2. 3

Glitter invitations b i r t h d ay i nv i te cardboard A5 (148 x 210mm) glitter horses glue decoration gems After having finished the glitter horses, there are various options to use them for decorating. 1. No party without an amazing invite announcing when, where and what time your horsemania party will happen. Fold your sheet one time down the centre. 2. N ow ready to adorn your invitation with the incredible glitter horse, placed on the front of your folded sheet. Spread the glue carefully on the entire back of the glitter horse. 3. T o your liking you can adorn your card with additional glitter gems. 1. 2. 5
Straws and cups with horses colourful straws paper cups glitter horses hot melt gun Having finished your glitter horses you have various options to use them as decoration. 1. A splendid decoration for your paper cups. To attach them securely, use the hot melt gun. Carefully, or with help of an adult, distribute the glue onto the back of your glitter horse. CAUTION This can be very hot ask for a helping hand. 2. I f you like, you can also decorate the straws. Attach one glitter horse on the upper end of your straws. 1. 2. 6
Tins with horses fo r t h row i n g g a m e s 3-5 empty tins decorative sticky tape glitter horses hot melt gun Another option to use your horses amazing tins for throwing games! 1. 1. D ecorate your clean tins with some sticky tape be creative the wilder the better! 2. For the next step you will need a hand from an adult. Carefully glue the glitter horse onto the tins with your hot melt gun. CAUTION Hot melt gun and glue will get very hot! 2. 3. S ee how wonderful they are! This is a favourite game on any fairground. Stack your tins in a pyramid shape. With a ball (tennis ball size) try to knock over as many as possible. Distance from the pyramid at least 2m. 3. OUR TIP It is fun to handicraft the tins together with your guests when partying! 7
Garland - pennants co l o u r f u l d e co ra t i o n crayons stiff cardboard in your favourite colours scissors string to thread together 1. C arefully cut out the pattern below your parents or grandparents will love to give you a hand. To copy as many pennants as needed, just trace the shape with a crayon onto your cardboard. The longer you wish your garland to be, the more pennants you ll need. 2. N ow you can cut the copied pennants out of your cardboard sheet asking for help is absolutely fine. Cut out the holes shown on the pattern. It is easier to use a hole punch. 3. N ow you can thread together the pennants (see pictures below). Lovely tassels fo r g a r l a n d s & d e co ra t i o n colourful tissue paper cutter ruler cutting mat string to thread together 1. Fold the tissue paper once down the center. For the next step you re allowed to ask for help. Cut stripes with your cutter, always at the same distance. CAUTION Stop cutting approximately 5cm before you reach the fold. 2. 2. U nfold your paper carefully. Now roll it into a thin roll. 3. T wist the middle part of the roll and bend it down right center. Now twist the two edges together, creating a little hole on the top. This helps to thread together your tassels to create a most amazing garland. 3. 1. 10
Potato printing fo r s e r v i e t te s stiff serviettes 1 potato kitchen knife acrylic paint paint brush 1. C ut out the pattern below. Choose your favourite one, either a horse or a horse shoe. Ask for a hand now. Cut the potato in two halves. 3. C olour your crown stamp with a brush, covering it completely. 2. P lace your cut out pattern onto the potato and cut around your chosen shape. The potato is your stamp, so remove the sides of the potato, which do not belong to the shape. Now your shape should stick out of the potato half, just like a stamp. 4. C an t wait to see your first print? Press the coloured potato onto your serviette. Repeat as often as you wish on different positions on your serviette to create a lovely pattern. 11

Tournament rosette to fa ste n cardboard colourful tissue paper (24 cm x 12 cm) scissors adhesive tape ribbon glitter horses glue stick Part 1 1. T ake your tissue paper and fold it 5mm in the length of the paper. Flip it over and fold it back over this fold as closely to the same size as possible. Continue folding 3. F an out the folds using the fold as the center point of your circle until the ends meet. Use your glue stick to to secure the ends together. according to style until your reach the end of your tissue paper. 2. T ake your folded stack of paper, fold it in half and crease it. Tie a piece of adhesive tape around the crease in the middle. 4. Now you cut out a circle using your cardboard paper (app. 7 cm in size). To be continued on the next page! 13
Tournament rosette to fa ste n Part 2 4. T ip: You can put a small glas onto the cardboard paper. Draw around it and cut out the circle. This is much faster and easier. 5. C ut off a piece of ribbon and fold it down the center into a V-shape. Glue it onto your cardboard circle. Hold it for a little while to really have it fixed. 6. Now you turn your circle around and adorn it with a glitter horse. This looks wonderful, doesn't it? 7. N early done! Glue the cardboard circle onto your tissue paper rosette. Finished! 14

Glue one of your glitter horses onto the upper edge of the toothpick. CAUTION Hot melt guns get really hot ask for help if you are insecure! 1. 2. N ow you can stick your glitter horse stick into the cupcake.
