Response: Emergency battery units are not included in the base bid. The emergency lighting is on the emergency lighting distribution. 4. We need to know what date to use in our scheduling for the Notice to Proceed because the Attachment G, part G and elsewhere states that the 138 days allowed to reach substantial completion and the 168 days allowed to reach final completion start at the Notice to Proceed but we don t have access to the site before 4/16/2016 through 9/5/2016 (142 days). It further states that the time frame from NTP until access to start the work is for pre-con and submittals. It was mentioned at the Pre- Bid that anticipated NTP date might be 2/23/2016 which is a gap of 26 calendar days which, if correct, allows approximately 112 days of access to the work area for substantial completion and 142 days access to site for Final Completion. Please verify the above so that we can schedule and price the proper manpower and materials based on the actual available time to do the work. Response: The Notice to Proceed (NTP) date cannot be issued until the contract is executed and the pre-construction meeting has occurred. Please note the NTP includes the start of pre-construction, mobilization, and closeout phases. NTP anticipated by 3/8/16. With this anticipated NTP date, the contractor could have 39 calendar days for pre-construction and mobilization prior to working on-site. Onsite work is still limited to the days as previously specified: 4/16/16-9/5/16. Substantial completion, which is to achieve beneficial occupancy and use of the space, would occur by 8/29/16. Final completion would occur 30 calendar days following substantial. The contractor would not have 24/7 availability to the site after 9/5/16. See revisions in Paragraphs F, G and H of this addendum. 5. Article 9 states The Contractor will furnish all materials, equipment, labor, transportation, construction equipment and machinery, tools, appliances, fuel, power, light, heat, telephone, water and sanitary facilities and incidentals necessary for the execution, testing, initial operation and completion of the Work. Could you please remove the power, light, heat, water and sanitary facilities from the above as we understand that we will be utilizing existing power, light, heat, water and sanitary in the work space as our understanding is that we can use existing utilities and facilities within the space. Response: Temporary power and water will be provided by the Owner. Contractor is responsible for temporary lighting and heat apart from usage of the existing lighting fixtures. Refer to attachment Architectural Sketch SKA-007 for restroom facilities designated to the Contractor. Contractor is responsible for cleaning and maintenance of the restrooms while they are being used. 3

6. Is a staging and laydown plan required for review during the pre-construction phase? Response: Yes, as Structural drawing S1.002 indicates the live load of the Valencia floor is limited to 100 psf over an active exhibit hall, there is a need to evaluate the use of the floor prior to the start of on-site work. C. CHANGES TO SPECIFICATIONS: 1. This addendum includes clarifications, corrections, additions, deletions, and revisions that take precedence over the original bid documents. Below is a list of the information contained herein. 2. NOTE: THIS SUMMARY IS NOT TO BE CONSTRUED AS THE DEFINITIVE LIST OF REVISIONS.
