Jim Clement - thank you for an excellent program on Vacuum Bag Veneering. Jim, your presentation provided a good educational opportunity to help us expand our woodworking knowledge. Thank You, Thank you. Also a special thanks to Ron and Michelle Hall for hosting the meeting. We continued our raffle for the 2 nd month and netted $12 after expenses for the treasury. If you have an item you would like to donate to the raffle it will be greatly appreciated. April Meeting: at Woodcraft Supply on Thursday, 04/30/09 at 6:30 p m. David Beyl will present a program on shop tips. David would like to have members participation at the meeting and suggest if you have a favorite shop tip, please share it with us at the meeting! May Meeting: at Woodcraft Supply on Thursday, 05/28/09 at 6:30 p m. Don McNutt will present a program on Steam Wood Bending. June Meeting: at Woodcraft Supply on Thursday, 06/25/09 at 6:30 pm. Mike Magruder will present a program on CNC Routers. I would appreciate any or all contributions of photographs by fellow members to brighten the pages of the Sawdust News. HEADS UP FOR APRIL PROGRAM! The subject of the April program is "Shop Tips". Hopefully this will be an interesting program... with some audience participation. I am David BEYL the April program presenter and requesting member input. What is a shop tip? Certainly you have read or seen many woodworking shop tips in all the popular media. It is usually the first thing I look at in a new magazine. I often think... "Why didn't I think of that?" Shop tips may be about safety, efficiency, labor saving methods etc. I am asking members to bring their favorite shop tips to the meeting. I'm looking for that original, never-seenbefore moment. Perhaps the guild could put out a Shop Tip Book? Think about it. Directions to Woodcraft Supply From I-5: Take the Michigan Street Exit.
