2 Welcome to In this guide you will find out how you can set up to your needs. Take some time to explore the features of. This guide provides tips and instructions to help you learn the basics quickly. First things first Setting up : When we press the Settings button: we can give our correct settings:

5 Start values for new materials can be adjusted to your needs. When making a new material in the list enter a name for the material and the default start values will be added automatically. If so, the default values will be added. Print When there is no labelprinter on the sawing machine, it is possible to create your own label. This will be neccesary for the Martin saw and the Gabbiani Wincut. Set Label print mode to Quick PDF. The advantages of this system is that there are no limits in what text you want to put on the label, place your own logo on the label, when using KORPUS or QuickNC it is even possible to show the final part on the label.

When using a labelprinter you can give the measurements of the label like shown in the picture above.

6 Click on Edit next to Part Lap-file and a new screen will appear: Page layout: Using a common printer you can give your page height, width, markings and the number of rows and colums. On the right side of the screen you see a button where you can add text, barcode, drawing (only with Korpus) and pattern (edgebanding pattern). When adding a new item, choose a location on the label, the text size and font and the variable it needs to contain. Example:

If you use just for optimization and if you need only the cutting patterns, you can set up your own print layout. General settings: Select the default printer. Layout: How many cutting patterns do you wish on one page Document margins: space around your document Field margins: space between layouts (cutting patterns) when more then one Scale: autoscaling or a factor Orientation: Vertical (portrait) or horizontal (landscape)

10 Materials: Select the settings you want to use and don't forget the columns. The rest of the chapters are with the same management of settings: Now you can print your optimized parts or export them to a PDF file.

If you already optimized parts and adjust these settings afterwards, you will need to optimise again. Additional band length per edge give you the possibility to add a certain length for each edged part. This will be calculated in the bill of materials.

12 Cutting patterns There you can change the view of your optimized boards. Part List Enter a target folder, a file name and enter the necessary elements you need in your bill of materials.

14 Columns Here you can change names of columns, make them visible or change the order. You can change this for different lists Hand storage system Hand storage is only possible with a barcodescanner programmed bij Vlecad.

(Please advice your machine dealer if this is necessary) All settings you need are placed in the help per postprocessor. There can be different versions of a type of postprocessor. If you are not sure which one to use, you can contact your dealer or Vlecad. You can activate 5 postprocessors of the same type of a machine at the same time. It is possible to select different postprocessors at a same time. On top of the screen you can select your default saw/machine. In the material list it is possible to select a saw per material. The machines that are in the list are available to use without any restrictions! Now we are ready to start working!!

Reference number, automatically generated number for a material. Available to use, give priority to a certain material. Material type, Basic board or residual. Minimal stock, when board count is lower then minimal stock, a warning will show. Residual X and Y, everything smaller then this size is garbage, otherwise it is residual. When nothing is entered, will use the default settings. You can find these default settings on the left side: Configuration. Layered boards, define a material composed of other materials. Example of group: How to make a group: De parts may only come once in the list (count needs to be 1) If you want to group parts with count 2 or more, only one part will be visible. You can expand the list by doing the following: Select your row, right mouse click on the row and select expand row.

20 Result: Now you can select the rows / parts we need in your group. With the Ctrl key on the keyboard, you can select the row by row. Or it is possible to select all the rows by using the Shift key (Windows oriented) Click with the right mouse button on a row and select Create / modify group A new screen will appear: On the left you see the selected rows / parts by name and measurements. The * indicates of the part is already in your group or not. Select your part and move to the green square (material size L x W) Once the part selected it hangs on your cursor. Like this:

21 Select the top left corner to start your group. When the position is correct, click with left and select the next part. Click OK when ready. The group will be optimized as a unit. You can now select different rows / part if they need to be in a different group.

Handholded warehouse This function will only work with a barcodescanner from Vlecad. Further instructions come with the installation. Edgeband materials In the menu, select Edit and then Edgebanding materials: Add a new material, give it a name, material name, thickness and color The color will be printed on the cutting patterns.

25 Language Change the language by click in the menu: Display then languages and then your language. needs to be restarted in order to change the language. Help In the menu help, you can find a function to update your SIM, contact your dealer or Vlecad for more information. Check here for available updates. In register data you can check if all your company data are filled in correct in the Windows registry. Remote assistance will open a teamviewer, call Vlecad to get assistance.
