4 General Information 1.1 Conference Location The Conference is held at University Politehnica of Bucharest LIBRARY BUILDING ROOM B21 2nd FLOOR Splaiul Independentei nr. 313, sector6, Bucuresti, CP Romania Tel/Fax: (+40)21/ The meeting room for the conference is in the LIBRARY BUILDING, B21, 2 nd Floor. Registration will start on Monday at 8.00 a.m. till p.m. On Tuesday it will be from 8.30 a.m a.m. with Wednesday registration only from 8.30 a.m a.m. Getting to Bucharest and the University By Plane When you arrive by plane in Bucharest it will be at either: Henri Coanda International Airport (OTP), Calea Bucurestilor 224 Tel: (21) or Most international flights arrive at Henri Coanda International Airport (Otopeni), located about 12 miles north of downtown Bucharest. Facilities include ATMs, an exchange office and cell phone rentals or at at:baneasa Airport, Sos. Bucuresti-Ploiesti 40 Tel: (21) or 9713 Baneasa Airport, located six miles from downtown Bucharest, is used for charter flights and scheduled low-cost flights from/to destinations in Europe. Express Bus 780 offers daily service to the main train station (Gara de Nord) Currently the only taxi company licensed to pick-up passengers from the Henri Coanda Airport is Fly Taxi (telephone: 9411). Fly Taxi's fee per km for trips from the airport is about 3.30 Lei ($1.8/mile). Public transportation between Baneasa airport and city centre: By Bus: Bus #131 to downtown Bucharest; Bus #205 to the main train station (Gara de Nord); By Taxi: Taxi - $10.00 (average) By Train If you arrive by train then it will be at: Bucuresti North - main train station (Gara de Nord), Blvd. Garii de Nord 2, Bucharest's main station, Gara de Nord, is located three miles from downtown Bucharest and is a major rail centre with daily connections from/to cities throughout Europe and main cities in Romania. 5 General Information By Metro The fastest way to travel within Bucharest is by subway. The subway (Metrou) is best for travel to longer distance and for getting to the city centre; trains operate - between 5:00am and 11:00pm. There are four subway (Metrou) lines (M1, M2, M3 and M4). Subway stations are indicated with the letter "M" (blue, on a white board). You can check your routes here on the METROREX website. 1.2 Badges ALL MAPS ARE AT THE BACK OF THIS PROGRAMME Each registrant will receive a name badge upon registration. The badge must be worn in order to be admitted to the technical sessions, lunches and social event. 1.3 Tickets Extra tickets for the social event and lunches are available from the Registration desk. (at conference prices) Price: (or equivalent in another currency) for extra tickets. All participants will be issued with tickets for lunch and the conference dinner. 6 General Information 1.6 Meeting Room The ISC 2016 meeting room is in the LIBRARY BUILDING, B21, 2 nd Floor. Directions to the rooms will be signposted. 1.7 Internet Connection There is full free WIFI at the conference site. 1.8 Need Help? Please see the conference desk for your questions 1.9 Social Events and Lunches All registrants are invited: To the Coffee Breaks and the lunches for 2 days (Monday and Tuesday) which will be served at the University on the second floor of the Library Building To the Conference Dinner The conference dinner will be held on the 7th of June in the evening from hours on the top floor restaurant of the Hotel Yesterday Str. Economu Cezarescu nr.8, Sector 6, Bucharest, Romania Tel: office@yesterday.ro 1.10 Best Paper Award During the conference the papers, which were accepted as extended papers will be judged by the committee and participants in order to choose the best paper of the ISC'2016 conference. The best paper candidate receives a certificate signed by the General Conference and Program Chairs and also a free registration to any EUROSIS conference within 2 years of receipt of the prize. 6

7 General Information 1.11 Paper Legend: Each paper is designated before each paper by its number. This number has to be entered on the form for the best paper award The room has an LCD projector and an overhead projector SESSION CHAIRPERSONS ALL SESSION CHAIRPERSONS IN THIS PROGRAM ARE PROVISIONAL. Session Chairs are chosen on a voluntary basis by proposals by either authors or local committee members or are appointed by the Track Chairs, General Program Chair or General Conference Chair. They are responsible for their assigned session. They make sure their speakers are available, take care of the timing within the session, chair the discussion after each presentation and introduce each speaker based on the CV's given to them by the authors. If a session chair is not available then the first author takes on the responsiblity to chair Sessions with extended papers: If you are a session chair in a session with extended papers make sure the session participants have a copy of the best paper award form and ask them to return them to you at the end of the session. After the session hand over the collected forms to Philippe Geril THE NUMBERS NEXT TO THE PRESENTATIONS DENOTE THE PAGE-NUMBERS IN THE PROCEEDINGS.
