(2 ) With 1K5 pull-up resistor open collector output (3) RS485 communication: The meter can be configured to RS485 communication interface. Communication range 1200mm. :b) two-wire system (1) Second-line 4 ~ 20mA linear correction electronic current output (When the voltage is 24V, the circuit load 600ohm). (2) No amendment to the original pulse optical isolator output: high 5V (power supply voltage of-1v). (3) Low <0.5V; with 1K5 pull-up resistor open collector output. Extra 12V electronic power need to be supplied. 2. Basic Introduction Designed in three- wire or two-wire system, E Series Display Circuit is a newly emerged compact circuit of Vortex Flow Meter. Its amplified circuit belongs to the Analog type. Within the conventional flow range, the flow rate of gas, liquid and steam can be measured in high accuracy through using this E Series Display Circuit. In addition, switches can be set up to adapt to a variety of medium-calibers and various kinds of measurements. Remote data processing and remote signal circuit are divided into threewire system and two- wire system. The three-wire system can be connected with RS485 communication equipment; it is also batterypowered. Using 4-20mA current output, the two-wire system can provide isolated original pulse output.

7 4. The User Menu Operation 4.1 The Working screen After accessing the electronic source, the meter will first have a self-test, and then enter the main display status of screen 1. The first line: total volume; two decimal display, automatic carry-bit of the decimal point. Units are as same as the non-time part of the instantaneous flow units. The second line: instantaneous flow; retained after the decimal 2, details of flow unit can be seen in the menu settings The third line: frequency value of the flow signals; show F = XXXX.XX Hz. retained after the decimal 2 display The fourth line: the output current value; show I = XX.XX ma, retained after the decimal

8 2 display(only 2W type) VTE3W the lower right corner of the three-wire system is for the battery indicator, batterypowered meter will display the battery power volume. Click "<" button or" + button, there is a switch between working screen 1 and working screen 2 The first line: the temperature setting value; for temperature compensation-related calculations. Show T To retain a decimal display. The second line: pressure set value; for pressure compensation-related calculations. Show P kPa, to retain two decimal places. 3rd line: Enter the state of password being set Press "E" key to enter the initial state of the password input. Press "S" key to cancel input state, returning to the screen 2 vice interface display. Press "+" button in the input state, cyclic changes in cursor values. Click "<" button, move the current input cursor position; In the input state, pressing the "E" key to examine the password. If it is right, enter the menu; IF it is not correct, and then return to the input initial state

9 4.2 User Parameter Setting Press "S" key to exit input state. Press "E" button to confirm the save type. Press "+" key, cyclic changes of the cursor values or symbols. Click "<" key, move the current input cursor to the right one. Enter at most up to 8-bit data (including signs, decimal point). 2, Menu Operation: See the menu browsing Press "+" button to turn in the down direction; click "<" button to turn in the up direction; Press" E "key to enter the submenu. Press "S" key to return to the interface of working screen 2 In the sub-menu, press "S" key to exit; press "E" key to enter the state of modification. If you want to change choice items in the modification state, please press the "+" button down to choose; click "<" button up to choose, press the E button to confirm. If you want to change choice in the input-state, then make the changes according to the input operation. Note: In the parameter setting, the display content can be saved after pressing the "E" button to confirm, or else the set is invalid

11 5. Production and Calibration The calibration of instrument production should be done by professionals who have deeper understanding of meters with corresponding calibration equipments. In the second -tier system, the calibration should be done by ammeters which are set with at least a measure range of > 20mA and an accuracy of better than 0.1%. Production calibration and some high-level settings are all carried out in production state. Without relevant equipment and adequate expertise, improper adjustment will result in the working mistakes of the meters. After confirming the password, you can set the state into production, setting the appropriate instrument parameters according to different instrument models. Open the front cover the meter and set the parameters menu according to the definition in Table 2 followed by the need to choose to, and then enter the production calibration menu.

12 Diagram 2 Production calibration menu table Password for the production menu is 11 Amplifying Board Debug Summary Amplification gain and trigger sensitivity employ adjustment with four switches, switch 1/2/3/4 each representing a 1/2/4/8; the sum of the ON number is GB = 1-15 transfer amplifier gain (commonly 4-8) the ratio of the corresponding resistance is 300K / (100K - 4K7), 1_15 magnification is in increases. SB = 1-15 tune the trigger threshold (commonly 4-8) the ratio of corresponding resistance is 300K / (100K - 4K7), 1_15 sensitivity is increased.

13 Test point TP0 is the ground; TP1 (K1, and GB) is adjustable amplified sinusoidal signal, TP2 (K2 and K3) is the top-cut sine wave with band -pass filter of limiting range. TP3 of (SB) is the square-wave which is limited by Schmidt Special trigger backlash. Choosing different calibers and media switches, please see the attached table. 14 The switch position of the corresponding figures is ON; the switch of the bit number that does not appear is OFF. The above table values are only for reference, and the values should be slightly modulated due to liquid viscosity and gas density in the actual use: it can be transferred to the largecaliber direction for 1-3 gear when the flow frequency is low; it can be transferred to the small-caliber direction for 1-3 gear when the flow frequency is high.
