6 OUTPUT ADJUSTMENT The trim terminal can be used to adjust the voltage over a 1V ±3mV range. This feature allows the system designer to trim system errors by setting the reference to a voltage other than 1V, including 1.V for binary applications (see circuit on the first page). Adjustment of the output does not significantly affect the temperature performance of the device. The temperature coefficient change is approximately.ppm/ C for 1mV of output adjustment.
