4 DIGITAL SET TOP BOX A set-top box (STB) or set-top unit (STU) is an information appliance device that generally contains a TV-tuner input and displays output to a television set and an external source of signal, turning the source signal into content in a form that can then be displayed on the television screen or other display device. They are used in cable television, satellite television, and over-the-air television systems, as well as other uses.
5 SET TOP BOX DVB-S2 Digital Video Broadcasting - Satellite - Second Generation (DVB-S2) is a digital television broadcast standard that has been designed as a successor for the popular DVB-S system. It was developed in 2003 by the DVB Project, an international industry consortium, and ratified by ETSI(EN ) in March The standard is based on, and improves upon DVB-S and the electronic news-gathering (or Digital Satellite News Gathering) system, used by mobile units for sending sounds and images from remote locations world-wide back to their home television stations.
6 DVB-T2 MPEG-4 SD/HD DVB-T2 is an abbreviation for "Digital Video Broadcasting Second Generation Terrestrial"; it is the extension of the television standard DVB-T, issued by the consortium DVB, devised for the broadcast transmission of digital terrestrial television. DVB has been standardized by ETSI. This system transmits compressed digital audio, video, and other data in "physical layer pipes" (PLPs), using OFDM modulation with concatenated channel coding and interleaving. The higher offered bit rate, with respect to its predecessor DVB-T, makes it a system suited for carrying HDTVsignals on the terrestrial TV channel (though many broadcasters still use plain DVB-T for this purpose).

9 DTH ANTENNAS ( ELLIPTICAL/OVAL /MULTI-SATELLITE MDU) To receive Indian satellite TV channels position the Dish Antenna in the direction of the satellite signals of Indian TV channels. The best place for installation of Dish Antenna for Indian TV channels is on the roof top, but it can also be placed on a balcony which faces the direction of the Indian TV channels satellite signals.

11 V-SAT ANTENNAS (VIDEO CONFERENCING /VOICE DATA.) A very small aperture terminal (VSAT) is a two-way satellite ground station with a dish antenna that is smaller than 3 meters. The majority of VSAT antennas range from 75 cm to 1.2 m. Data rates range from 4 Kbit/s up to 16 Mbit/s. VSATs access satellites in geosynchronous orbit to relay data from small remote earth stations (terminals) to other terminals (in mesh topology) or master earth station "hubs" (in star topology). VSATs are used to transmit narrowband data (e.g., point-of-sale transactions using credit cards, polling or RFID data, or SCADA), or broadband data (for the provision of satellite Internet access to remote locations, VoIP or video). VSATs are also used for transportable, on-themove (utilising phased array antennas) or mobile maritime communications.
12 VIDEOCONFERENCING Videoconferencing (VC) is the conduct of a videoconference (also known as a video conference or video teleconference) by a set of telecommunication technologies which allow two or more locations to communicate by simultaneous two-way video and audio transmissions. It has also been called 'visual collaboration' and is a type of groupware.

20 7.3 Earth Station Antenna 7.3M Earth Station Antenna Description 7.3-meter antenna, which uses a shaped parabolic reflector, provides high gain and exceptional pattern characteristics as well as low VSWR. Its electric performance meets the FCC regulation , IESS (Intelsat), or ITU-RS Recommendation 580 side lobe specification (domestic and international standards). The main reflector surface is comprised of 16 individual adjustable aluminium panels. The panels of the main reflector are comprised of aluminum sheets and ribs which are stretch-formed, and are riveted on the special mould.
