5 Electromechanical Components and Mechanical Structures for Electronic Equipment, LTD 03 NATONAL FOREWORD This ndian Standard (Part 2)which is identical with EC : 1965 Radio-frequency connectors Part 2: Coaxial unmatched comector along with Amendment No. (1982) issued by the nternational Electrotechnical Commission (EC) was adopted by the Bureau of ndian Standards on the recommendation of the Electromechanical Components and Mechanical Structures for Electronic Equipment Sectional Committee and approval of the Electronics and nformation Technology Division Council. The text of EC Standard has been approved as suitable for publication as an ndian Standard without deviations. Certain conventions are, however, not identical to those used in ndian Standards. Attention is particularly drawn to the following: a) Wherever the words nternational Standard appear referring to this standard, they should be read as ndian Standard. b) Comma (,) has been used as a decimal marker, while in ndian Standards, the current practice is to use a point (.) as the decimal marker. Amendment No. 1 to the above nternational Standard has been given at the end of this publication.
